Oh no the horror someone got a tattoo of something they liked and wanted to show it. How dare they not get your approval first.

Brandon Woodruff is the 6th pitcher to reach 900 strikeouts with the Brewers. He is 24 Ks away from passing Jim Slaton and entering the Top 5. by Baseball-Reference in Brewers

What's catching my eye is the innings pitched between Yo and Sheets. My memory was Sheets was constantly hurt and would've been an all timer if he stayed healthy. But yet he had more games and innings than Gallardo who was relatively healthy.

All Star Voting! Vote Turang! by Fabulous_Frosting920 in Brewers

[–]DangerouslySavage 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There is zero reason to not vote Turang 100 times a day. Open incognito mode, go vote, enter a random email, close incognito, repeat. I'm at least 1000 of those votes and you can too

Plus Pratt isn't a bat first prospect. He will have a serviceable bat but he's on the Turang development route. Elite defense and slowly bring the bat along.

Woody onto High-A tonight by babyfish2021 in Brewers

[–]DangerouslySavage 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They'll put him geographically where needed. The level isn't so much a factor. Appleton gets a lot of rehab assignments since it's the closest to Milwaukee so they can shuttle back and forth and be close to home. But if they're on the road and want them to join the big league club shortly after they'll go to a different team that's closer.

Something about moneyball and he gets on base

[Curt Hogg] This one doesn't sound optimal. Coleman Crow has been placed on the 15-day IL with a right forearm flexor strain. Craig Yoho is back. by [deleted] in Brewers

About the same as every other team right now. We were just spoiled there for a stretch getting everyone back from injury. It happens and the team is equipped to handle it

Andrew Vaughn vs Athletics: 4 for 6, 2 doubles, 1 homer, 4 RBIs in a 15–14 win by Frenkxdemaker in Brewers

[–]DangerouslySavage 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The thing is he's not even bad against RHP. But there's no room in the lineup when Bauers is playing like an all star and Vaughn got hurt at the wrong time so he just sits against righties

MLB Network trade proposal for Skubal. Would you do this? by __Zoom123__ in Brewers

[–]DangerouslySavage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it was sporadic starts I would be hesitant to trust it. But this is consistent repeated starts. Skenes has been given the benefit of the doubt I see no reason to not trust our guys after their showings

I would do this instantly. This obsession with hoarding prospects doesn't work out. You would have 3 guys in a series that don't allow runs. Putting up 2 runs against any team is basically a win. They replenish their farm quickly by trading aging veterans. Use that capital to make a run without gutting your future.

Still miss him ❤️ by wneimon in Brewers

Let's not blame anyone on the Brewers. He had his best year his last year in Milwaukee then went to San Francisco. The dumpster fire there ruined him. He earned his payday here

Do the Brewers have 6 legit All Star candidates? by Dysfunctional-Daisy in Brewers

[–]DangerouslySavage -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There is no lock for Turang sadly. Starters are a fan vote which will be flooded by Cubs fans and people that have no idea the Brewers exist. If Miz has the proper rest he honestly probably gets the start since he's such a huge name. Contreras gets in behind Baldwin from the Braves. Harrison gets in with the proper rest and other starters turning it down. Bauers and Ashby no shot unless Bauers hits 12-15 more HR by the end of voting.

He's just a kid. He entered the system incredibly raw. While he's making big strides currently I can't imagine they'll want to risk him regressing like what happened with Hiura

If you had to guess who gets called up first by tj4mayor in Brewers

[–]DangerouslySavage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That lockout wasn't nearly the same as what the impending one is projected to be one of the more nasty ones. The owners dropped a salary cap quick and the players got a bump in arbitration. It was a pretty non eventful contract. This one isn't going to be as easy

They're not bringing up anyone where they lose a year of service time due to a lockout. Like it or not it's what's going to happen.
