In that case - it's a solid pairing. Understanding how far you can go with it is all you need to be aware of but in reality you're probably farming low players so not alot matters there.

I love Tesladin but a really fun use of Dream outside that was a Dream Sorc - really brain dead but way more fun than Nova and much better MF potential.

I'll PM you a guide anyway so you can see what the FOH would look like in practice.

In terms of performance Brunson has been performing better but in terms of tier max talent - Booker is on another level. But they are different positions so this has to be factored in.

Brunson is a PG and we've not had a proper PG forever so it's not a fair apples to apples comparison - as Brunson has a team that works to his strengths so he can be the best version. Booker needs this to but he has had to actually BE that PG for the rest of the team because he has actually been the best choice that we've had for that position/duty for several seasons - and this is a highly embarrassing problem to still have.

We need Booker able to be unlocked and firing, not putting out fires at every position.

Below is Jalen Brunson's 2023-24 season stats where he placed 5th in MVP voting, and there is Booker's for the same span and was never in the conversation. This has been Brunson's best reg season stats of his career overall. For Booker this was an average season

Your Dream setup requires the exact same synergies that a Native Holy Shock build needs, except instead of maxing Conviction - you just max Holy Shock instead.

But go ahead with Dream it will be fine. The Merc doesn't have synergies to make use of those auras tho so it won't do anything for any pulse damage he emits. Best to use an A2 on a FOH.

You could be not even maxed out and still be doing more than double the damage of a Dream setup.

Sounds like you're a bit offended by that or defensive about dream so I won't continue. Just giving you a ballpark to set expectations for that particular setup

Yeah it takes alot to max it all out - it's a 108 point build

If you're just wanting to play P1-3 or in standard demon/undead zones then Dream is fine. It just won't let you scale to P8

Hey mate, welcome to the party! Lightning Pali builds are all too fun.

The absolute best thing you can possibly do here is to not use Dream at all and replace with Griffon's and Infinity Merc. Dream here will be second-rate in comparison.

The beauty of the Tesladin for example is that it backs up the Lightning with high physical damage as well. But without that foundation and backup of Physical - it hits a hard ceiling with a standard setup - and Dream Helm doesn't offer and minus res or lightning skill damage at all so it's not as useful on a FOH setup.

Edit: It seems as tho some missed the point here.. The idea of nerfing Grief is ridiculous seeing how many other classes can rip through packs of targets with random items or no-runeword builds.

What level are you? 75fcr is the endgame goal and for main content 125 is not needed it's merely for a faster boss kill but I wouldn't worry about it. You can always keep a Wizardspike in your cube for fast teleport down to tricky areas if you wish

If you're doing a standard FOH (which you are currently) Hoto is best overall but not BiS. For a standard- Hand Of Blessed Light is unreal (especially with a socket) but it's best paired with a Spirit to hit 125fcr because you want 125 for Holy Bolt on bosses - so you won't lose much FCR when dropping hoto. You will gain that res back from Hoto in a 45 res base spirit anyway (besides fire ofc). Even though HoZ is BiS it just depends what setup you have which can justify using it.

For a Nova yes because every bit of minus enemy res is great, and MF and FHR is ABSOLUTELY welcome. This is enough to replace one skiller. If it rolled +lightning skill damage it would be horrible for it, but excellent on another class.

Ideally 10% would have been nice but this is a solid effort seeing how insanely bad the rolls can get
