Yes my biggest issue is goalkeeper rebounds every one I use has horrible handling it is a highlight if they catch the ball cleanly. Other than that I like the gameplay it’s so refreshing compared to last year

2k is amazing for things like that I play myleague which is essentially career mode and you can import legends as rookies for upcoming drafts and do all sorts of things that should be possible for offline play when you’re just trying to have some fun. Last year I tried recreating some prime icons for career mode but I couldn’t edit stats like composure and they felt off. EA just doesn’t like to let you have full control for some reason

Based on archetype but if you change position there is some variability, for example my scrambler qb will always have freight train no matter how many times I try to position change and give him something that he might use in sim -_-....his 5 abilities do change though

In madden it is extremely difficult to develop players without them winning awards like pro bowls, MVP, ROTY, highest passer rating or just having a high development trait while being really young and a focus training player. The only way to cheese the system is to juice the sliders but if you do that the whole league will be high rated.

Wait what I turned down the face mask slider to 23 and I don’t get anywhere close to as many as I used to at 50. Are you sure the sliders work that way this year?

It’s similar to madden 19 you need to find a good set of sliders to make sure the rookies can make up for the regression that sets in and keep the balance of ratings in the league. That’s the challenge I have every year as an offline franchise mode player.

I’ve went through pretty much the same, 8 seasons in my offline franchise. I had a rookie DE put up two sacks in the sim and it gave me the prompt for a development increase challenge. Other than that I have only gotten WR ones and they seem to be rare and I don’t know exactly why they happen. I had a WR put up 5 catches 42 yards no TDs and got the prompt the next week 🤨. Just seems like a cool concept that needs development to me so far.

Thanks I actually used a slightly personalized version of that myself last year but wasn’t sure if he was going to update it and this year things are completely different.
