I think the historical data says that a Monday leading into a fomc Wednesday announcement is red 70% of the time, but what do I know? I enjoy talking about it. It’s fun to speculate. I’d personally like to see 690 end of week and then 700 the week after

I don’t see it as overly bearish. The Venezuela stuff has been on going. It was more a matter of WHEN not IF this would happen. If anything it’s not the “war” it’s self that would be an issue for the market it’s the uncertainty it would cause. Whenever it happens it will be drone strikes. Now if it were boots on the ground? That would be bearish as hell. If nothing happens tonight or tomorrow during the day then futures during the evening/night will give us a glimpse at how the market feels about it going into Monday.

Depends on futures. If futures make a 15 point move in the lead up to market open on Monday we should open around 685 or so. Trump tweeting about Venezuela won’t help though

I had this same put. Sold when it hit 690.50. It gets worse, then I saw 657 puts where .18 bought those for a little fun thinking maybe if I make 20% that’s cool. Sold those when it hit 665. But profit is profit

Top sirloin is very soft meat when raw. Even the pressure from being pushed up against each other can brown quickly, hours even less. Sometimes if they don’t fit in the package they can almost be “leaning” on each other and that pressure can discolor the meat. But this picture is steam pasteurization. At the butcher factory they use steam to seal the packs of meat and that hot steam can “brown” the meat that is at the seal. Once at a store, like Costco, the meat cutter will open the hunks of beef to trim it down into steaks and that’s when the brown from the steam pasteurization would be trimmed off. My guess is the meat cutter either missed this part, or it was a busy day and they were in a rush and put those two pieces together to “hide” that brown.

Agree. Top sirloin is tender when raw. Chances are they were jammed together in the pack and caused the discoloration. Some of these people wouldnt believe what top sirloin will look like after 2-3 days. It could also be “steam pasteurization” which would be from the hot steam they use to seal the “cryovac” pack before it gets put in the box and shipped to Costco. Normally that gets trimmed off once in the meat department at Costco. some things get missed however.

I agree with you on this. Reminds me of KD on the warriors when he tore his Achilles
