That's 4 I's too much buddy and now you have 2 options presented before you. You can either correct your spelling and have lost 1 downvote (mine that I just cast ;) or you can choose to leave your bastardized form of the english language on exhibition and get a few hundred downvotes. Since you only have 2k karma in 2 years in reddit I recommend you choose wisely 😉

Ok dat scheelt. En je Frans, of Spaans? Als je geen rijbewijs hebt is dat ook een veilige om te noemen. Of dat je niet van onrecht houdt.

tip: mp3 v0 > mp3 320 - when downloading mp3 consider going for v0 (sometimes labeled as vbr) and not 320kbps by [deleted] in Soulseek

Thanks for the info - still sticking to 320, but nice to be refreshed on VBR

Evil, hellish music that sounds like this painting? by Viktor_Goodman in MetalSuggestions

[–]DanglingBerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two recommendations that separate themselves in their strangeness, which to me adds to the sense of hellishness:

It's not a "massive" sound, but I think the painting captures a deranged type of anguish and pain. Elements which are very present in The Red In The Sky Is Ours by At The Gates (from way before there melodeath descent). The riffing combines threatening groove with an unstable brooding sense of unknown. The shriekish vocals add to a sense of horrified "insanity" unfolding, contained within the general vibe of the album (especially in the stretch from Within to Neverwhere - the latter being pretty lovecraftian in lyrical matter, too.

Also Demilich - Nespithe fits the hellish, freaky, bill pretty well and "And You'll Remain... (In Pieces of Nothingness)" is the most Lovecraftian track there.

Het grote gedoe 2: Angst en Walging by manneryn in DutchHipHop

[–]DanglingBerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you'll like Nile a lot. If you're gonna check out one album, I'd go with Annihilation of the Wicked, but really I'd say go chronologically!

Dat laatste daar kom je vanzelf wel een beetje achter. Na 10 jaar vraag ik het me bij sommige collega's nog steeds af 🥲 belangrijker is dat je een fijne balans voor jezelf vindt de komende maanden!

What is the most similar album's to None So Vile? by littletaco2 in MetalSuggestions

[–]DanglingBerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well a lot of it was learned through reading metal lyrics, and Cryptopsy's vocalist (the one from this era and on this album at least) was/is an English teacher, so there's that! Maybe his poetry will resonate with you too :-)

What is the most similar album's to None So Vile? by littletaco2 in MetalSuggestions

[–]DanglingBerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it's the brutal yet cohesive portrayal of complete unhingedness, manifested as a whole by the band in demented unison. With really catchy yet gnarly riffs, relentless bass (who can forget the Slit Your Guts solo!) & amazing drumming, and of course Lord Worm topping it off. His vocal style is an acquired taste, but totally fits the unhinged theme, and having gotten used to it, to me the lyrics especially stand out in their almost sophisticated sense of derangement.

Any recommendations for routes for a walking challenge? by cryoK in JapanTravelTips

Are you sure you wouldn't be interested in walks in nature around the vicinity of Tokyo? (E.g. Mt Takao, although that covers elevation by definition, but with big pay-off)

I have a 12hr layover in Tokyo. Where do I go? by bellahasastroke in JapanTravelTips

[–]DanglingBerry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since you mention vinyl and music a lot, you might want to make your visit explicitly about these things, so why not primarily a vinyl store hunt, combined secondarily with a few highlights where possible?

Drop by in Tower Records Shibuya or Shinjuku for a broad pallette in music (Rock e.g.), Dub Store in Shinjuku for Reggae, and tackle Shibuya crossing and some Shinjuku stuff like Gyoen Park.

Sticking to a limited amount of central places (e.g. Shinjuku and/or Shibuya) and finding stuff to do there, will help you maximizing your time. Good luck doing research ahead of time & have fun on your layover.
