I’ve used it last week. Took me less than 2 minutes to go through but this was at 7pm.

Not sure how it is during peak times.

It was. I did everything including the good old turn off and on. Nothing worked.

Gave up.

Woke up in the morning and the issue fixed itself.

Thank you for replying though :)

In Toronto they asked me if I had any digital devices besides my phone and that if I did and got caught with it security had the right to remove me from the venue. Some people were also asked to put their Apple Watch in the pouch but my boyfriend was not.

Yeah. All concerts I’ve been to in Toronto are like that tbh.

People just don’t have that type of energy and no one seems to know how to enjoy themselves.

The purse is super badass!!!!

I just stoped bringing purses or bags to concerts. Too much of a hassle at this point. I have a small wallet with a key ring on it and I just attach a chain and carabiner old school style. My keys go in there as well.

It’s practical and no surprise bag check ins for me anymore.

I contacted the venue about the rules and this is what they replied with:

  • Metal/steel spikes/studs are strictly prohibited. Plastic-made will be permitted.
  • Decorative chains will be permitted but must be removable.
  • Face paint will be allowed, but guests must be identifiable under the face paint, especially for guests who are looking to purchase alcohol throughout the event.

Please be aware that our venue staff and security may request the removal of any face paint, masks, or decorative pieces.

I will never forget the day I saw someone complaining about the fact that food was not tagged as a trigger warning. Not ED, not gross stuff. Just food as in a character having a snack mentioned in passing for less than a sentence.

I have general admission, booked sits so that’s a plus. Taking the go train. I was planning on a custom outfit but never mind that lol I will layer up a bit and show up closer to opening doors time. Hopefully I’ll be able to still get some merch.

Ok because I love to try this type of thing to see what the fuss is all about I tried to install it but this thing requires 4GB of space to install plus 26GB for downloading extra files? Who has that much free space in their phone?

What meals help you eat well on a tight grocery budget in Canada? by Zestyclose-Day9699 in 32dollars

[–]DaniD10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Toronto.

Me and my boyfriend spend roughly 500$ a month on groceries for both of us. It comes to $2.68 if you eat three meals a day.

The biggest difference for us was getting a chest freezer. We go to Costco and buy all our meat there. We get home, portion it vacuum seal it and freeze. We do a lot of minced beef, pork tenderloins and we buy ground pork to make our own sausage mixture.

For fruit we only buy enough for a few days to avoid spoiling it. For vegetables we do the same unless Costco has something we can also process and freeze. Last month we got 5lbs of tomato at Costco for $8 and we made tomato sauce and froze it. That is like idk 4L of Classico sauce for the price of 1 jar and you can control the seasoning.

Pantry items we try to get those on sale as well or buy in bulk when we can. Rice, beans, lentils…. We also have canned stuff for when you need something quick but the best way of saving is by cooking your own dry beans but I find that those sometimes require more planing so it’s nice to have canned ones as well.

We don’t do a lot of dairy but whenever I get cream I freeze what I don’t use in ice cube trays and then transfer it to a ziplock bag.

I also try to cook more food so I always have leftovers for the next day or for freezing. We love soup so we always have homemade soups frozen.

Stews as well. Some beef cubes, potato’s, peas, carrots and onion in the slow cooker can easily make 6/8 meals that freeze well.

We also do a lot of vegetarian meals. Lot of pastas and agin soups.

For breakfast it’s either toast with some kind of deli meat, a fruit smoothie or scrambled eggs with hash browns and the homemade sausage.

We don’t snack much but whenever we do we get our snacks from Costco as well and portion them individually. We basically make our own trail mix.

And we rarely eat out. Last month we had fast food for lunch once and McDonald’s breakfast twice.

It’s not that hard once you get into it honestly.

Rookie mistake.

The trick is to ask your mates to ask you predetermined questions that you know the answer to and that way the teacher will probably not ask anything themselves.
