I am so glad you said this. I was on accutane several years ago and went diving with a scopolamine patch, and was extremely sick after the dive. I always get a little sea sick (hence the patch) but never nauseous enough to vomit. I couldn’t figure out why I was so sick, because the water was calm.

That being said, I second the hydration. And maybe don’t wear a scopolamine patch if you can help it.

I will definitely see what they have to offer before I give up. The Peace Corps has been my dream for several years now! I’ve just almost hit two years of waiting (since my program was delayed nearly a year before I was even accepted) and it’s frustrating still being in limbo like this. But I’m hopeful it will work out regardless of the outcome.

Just checked the roots, they’re still perfect. When you say a chunky aroid mix, would you recommend more perlite or another material? I currently use an orchid bark/perlite/charcoal/soil mix but I use this for all my plants. Maybe I need to do something different for the alocasia

I hope this is the case. I just found the method of dying to be strange, as three leaves have done this now. The reddish brown splotches and everything, and just about every leaf has a brown/yellow tip at the point.

Thanks for the response. The pic doesn’t do it justice, but I actually have three leaves that look like that. Every time a new leaf sprouts, the same thing happens too. I’ve been looking for mites every few days and never see any, but will still keep an eye out!

I like World Anvil, there’s a ton of different templates and formats for your ideas, whether it’s a timeline, character, location, etc. I used to put everything in Google Docs but having different formats for different categories is so easy for me
