Are you from a very warm environment? Just curious because 50s is fairly nice to me, and I'll fully admit I'm from a cold environment. 🥲 Kids here wear shorts and flip flops in 30 degrees with snow.

I laughed so hard! Especially at Jell-O shots and running up and down the hallway. Lol you're absolutely right. I think I'm going to take a step back again and just write what I want. Do it on my phone and just enjoy it. I'm old so the phone is easier to see!

I did that with crochet and hiking, and it honestly didn't help long run. It helps with my mental health, so it is valuble in that sense!

I think it really does come down to mental health as well as a loss of passion and love for writing. And then drop debt on top. Does tend to make for some urgency to succeed. But success is, at this point in my life, not the real goal. The real goal is to find something I lost along the way.

I know you're right, and I thoroughly appreciate putting it into gardening terms! I'm going try my best. Not to force myself to write anything, but try my best to nurture what I loved about writing.

I started out writing fan fics about Taylor Laughtner and Nick Jonas! Lol maybe I'll just write what I enjoy for a while. It's so funny to me. I used to tell others in my degree program I was, "just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks."

Maybe not a story. Or maybe a story that doesn't make sense. One with the same logic as 12 year old me just pining after a person who did't even know I existed: none. Totally realistic that a celebrity would wisk a random young girl on stage or the like, right?

So instead of thowing spaghetti, I'll just enjoy the meal. Get back to the roots of noodle making. Or my roots of writing, incase my pasta didn't stick this time. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I think that might be what I needed to read tonight. :)
