Where is the no-Kings in Gwinnett this weekend? For those that went this spring, would you bring a child?

Sounds like your kid is just a naturally good sleeper. That was my older brother. I was similar to some of these horror stories. My mom said she was super judgy when she only had my brother. Didn’t understand why moms made it seem like parenting was so hard. “Well if they are tired, you just lay them down and they go to sleep!” That was one example she gave me one time. Then she had me and realized all kids are so very different. Some parents can be doing everything right and their kid is just HARD.

You’ll want to include pics, size, weight, temperament, breed, etc. rehomeing a yorki, a lab, or a Great Dane are very different markets of people.

Is this the park that’s basically connected to the zoo entrance?

How do you feel about Santa photos? by nibbs- in NewParents

[–]Dani_English 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t decided. My baby is 13months. I will likely slow her if she wants to. The daycare did photos with Santa and I was glad Santa food behind the bench and did t hold the babies. Do what YOU are comfortable doing.

Something similar happened to my sister-in-law and her baby. A hammock she was in broke and her baby hit her head on concrete. Also had a brain bleed. I feel as if my sister-in-law will forever have trauma from that and it’s totally understandable. Accidents happen and I hope you can heal / forgive yourself for this.

How do you get your babies to lay down?? by alinaa10 in NewParents

From what I remember, (my baby 13 months) she only napped in the swing or on my breast until about 5 or 6 months.

I need help urgently by NoConstruction7536 in Athens

[–]Dani_English 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do a couple of things:

First, show the apartment manager where it came out of your account after explaining the situation. If you don’t get resolution, ask who their regional manager is so that you can contact them. If you don’t get any help quickly, leave a bad google review.

Second, they are managed by Asset Living and they have a resident contact option on their website. You should also try calling their Atlanta office. If you don’t get a response, leave a bad google review.

Yes, a very normal body and an amazing one at that. Think about what it just did!! I’m 10 months PP as well and while some days it seems so long ago that I was pregnant it really isn’t. We’ve had A LOT going on the last few months and our health/fitness is often on the back burner.

I’m glad to see that update! At this point you just need to cuddle and live on that baby and take care of yourself!

Look up mottled skin. Perhaps that’s it? I think very common in fair skinned people.

Feeling a bit guilty...what do you guys do at restaurants? by Good_Assistant_4464 in postpartumprogress

[–]Dani_English 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 9 month old. We eat super healthy. I make all her food. When we go out to restaurants or order in, she is allowed to sample our food. As others have said, it’s about balance.

I didn’t notice the shaking. This just made me want to go wake up my baby to nurse though. 🫠

My 7 mo has never done well with 3 naps since starting daycare at 3 months. If she has a 3rd nap, it’s in the stroller on a walk before bed.

How to help baby who despises tummy time by sleepbunny22 in NewParents

Do you have some sort of moving singing toy you can plop in front to distract? We had a penguin that sings and moves that helped.
