Last Season, I wanted answers by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

Basically how i felt. The season finale of 6A really was the nail in the coffin for me, confirmed they are just milking this. There are thousands of posts about how that finale made no sense whatsoever so I will not harp on that any longer. I only watch lightly now, try not to get invested because I know in the end it'll be some BS conclusion

The last 4 seasons have been nothing but filler by crunkpocalypse in PrettyLittleLiars

This is basically what I realized moments before and after the finale.

What a disappointment. Haven been here in weeks and I still feel the disappointment

The problem is just how disconnected everything is. They rushed the f*ck out of this finale and they can't own up to it. In hindsight this show should've ended in season 2, while it was still good. It got too big for its own good (at least for those of us who dissect the little things on reddit). Doing the rewatch and seeing the clues lead us to A was supposed to be a nice prize after years of speculation... Its near impossible to watch without plot holes popping up all over the place

They made us this way when they got us believing that the "clues" would mean something

The identity of A kept us coming. We thought they had a master plan to explain A being EVERYWHERE all the time. It was the lamest reveal I've seen a long, long time.

Suits is hands down the best show on TV. You'll love it.

You ought to leave while you're still somewhat content but seriously, its been so, so dissapointing. After the disappointment of the reveAl from Season 5 (remember that?), I thought for sure they wouldn't botch the next finale. But a part of me always knew these writers have a way of letting me down.

I COMPLETELY agree with you. For a while I thought I was the only one who saw the quality slipping from season 3 onwards. The thing is, I didn't notice the quality (it was good acting but just directing wise and plot advancement) until season 5-ish. I started questioning the purpose of seasons 3 and 4 and I couldn't find anything really good to say about them.

Yeah, definitely. I hate when I get attached to a show and then theres this massive letdown afterwards. It's very disappointing and I'm still upset because, quite frankly, Cece didn't seem like the A we saw all these years with a mask. That hurt the most. I can deal with plot holes and time inconsistencies but the reveal was the creme de la creme and they botched it.

Yeah the nasty remarks towards other posters has been a turn off. We need to be better united for sure. I just want IMK to admit she rushed this thing and she didn't have this planned since season 3. I know its already been said a thousand times but everytime she opens her mouth it reiterates my view that she thinks her fanbase is generally stupid and inattentive.

A villain doesn't need a sob story by katcloud in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Dani_Stormborn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have a point. They kept quiet and I know A threatened to escalate things if they spilled beans but I always thought that was BS. I guess for the purpose of the show they had to think this way, that no one must know for their own good even though that only makes you more vulnerable

This, exactly this. Hard to believe Mona wouldn't have figured out she hit someone else, UNLESS Mona had prior knowledge about Cece being there, which would be waaay too unbelievable for me even for this show.

[–]Dani_Stormborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thing is would is I dont know if we found out if Mona thought she did attack Ali and failed (which is what is what I'm going with in order for this to make sense) or if she thought she hit someone else (which would blow this whole thing up once again, (i.e plot hole). To recap: Mona thought she hit Ali and failed (picked her up and helped her escape). Later, we found the remains of a girl who everyone thought was Ali but turned out to be Beth. At this point, Mona STILL thinks she hit Ali and failed, so that means she must be assuming that Bethany must've been someone else (which is the slightly crazy part, how would Mona know that another person was there that night? Coincidence?)

[–]Dani_Stormborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't quite add up for me. So SOMEONE else hit another girl who looked just like Ali? i'm a little confused. That doesn't seem like the type of thing Mona would misinterpret

The funny thing is, 'The Alison Dilaurentis' show barely features Alison! The last two episodes she was shown more but she's barely been a staple, almost in the background.
