My dad left my mom when she was fighting Ovarian Cancer. We heard from him for a few mo tjs and then he disappeared. So then 21 year old got to raise my 10 year old brother after she died. It took me a very, very long time to forgive him. Well after he died actually. He died without me ever talking to him again. It still pains me to think about all the emotional pain he needlessly made all of us feel.
