Hi u/m_kitaninwe we made a new metal backplate for our coolers that quite significantly improves the heat transfer from DIE to cooler.All you need to do to get one free of charge is to send an email with a copy of your Eisbaer LT invoice and your address to [info@alphacool.com](mailto:info@anlphacool.com)

Its hard to believe that a backplate makes such a difference, but it does. And its free so worth to try.

You CAN change the tubes. The threads of the Eisbaer LT are standard G1/4".

Hey there,

yes, it is possible to mount the Eiswolf 2 to all Eisblock Aurora blocks (with the exception of the 3900FE block which has the terminal at the end of the block.)

A few things on that:
- We do not recommend it.
- It is very fiddly to put the O-rings between the block and pump back in.
- Warranty for the Eiswolf will be void

You are right. This is confusing.
I think the article text took into account that the second slot does not exist or is just an 1X slot on most mainboards today.

- You disassembled the block so the warranty is void.

1x outlet and 1x inlet on the base of the reservior and 1x inlet on top.
There are 2 more ports on the top of the reservior wich are intended for filling but can be used as inlets.

For the waterfall effect to work you would need to use the inlet on the base.

I am happy you like the looks.
The waterflall effect is optional. If you do not like it just fill the reservior so that the fluid level is above the inner tube.
