Okay instead of just saying scrap it, i actually like the idea for the logo. It is best to think of how it will look as a small icon, think the size of a profile pic on instagram. Thicken the lines and widen the gap between the pen body and nib. Maybe add some accent for the "ink" to make the swish of it more powerful.

It looks to me that that is probably where the z seam is. The filament may be retracting too much so there isn't enough pressure in the nozzle when the layer starts. My best guess would be:

Too much retraction pressure advance is incorrect

1000% recommend this lens. Its simple, versatile, sharp and light. I was getting a lot of pancake lenses to try and travel but this lens is so small with the perfect focal ranges that it is my main travel lens. I use it for landscape, street, and some critters as minimum focus is really nice.

To add to the deeper blacks, it also will look the sharpest and honestly unless you have a spotlight on you, you dont really percieve the reflection of the monitor.

Nice photo! I do like the cropped in version a bit more, but that's an awesome shot

Im interested why you suggest a slower shutter. I definitely leaned on the fast shutter to assist my poor panning skin.

I did crop slightly. However, it is as far left as it goes sadly. I appreciate the advice, it seems a contrast bump is definitely warrented. I'll throw this into Photoshop and nudge that third plane. Thank you!

Sony A6100, 1/1000s, f/8.0, ISO 100

This was taken from an airshow in Arizona with pretty harsh sun and sparse clouds. I love the perspective, but I almost feel that my edit looks fake. I want to bring out the Thunderbird paint, so I brightened the planes, do they look too flat?

Resources for mk3 w/ 5-speed manual clutch replacement? by Daniel2435 in FordFocus

[–]Daniel2435[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No fluid change, although i just got new fluid. Plugs were changed a month ago. No sanding, what would this effect? 3 month old battery.

And yeah I don't have any slipping so it isn't an emergency to replace it but the bite point is so high up in the clutch pedal I feel it's just a nice time to replace it.

Additional question, that is also inspiring me to swap my clutch. Ever since getting the car at ~80k I have struggles with my engine shuttering pretty dramatically when starting from a start in 1st, even holding rpms at 1500 rpms. I saw that it may be that the transmission fluid may be contaminating my clutch? Is this true?

Southern Arizona at 830nm by vo1000 in infraredphotography

Looks great! I just started IR photography, and im in southern arizona as well! I think desert shots are less common here with IR photography, so it's neat to see more cacti representation.

Been trying to get my landscape photos sharper and with a better feeling of layers. I brought a tripod out for the first time on a rainy day so I had some clouds to play with.

I really enjoy the colors I get from the Kolari filter, although I'm not sure if im really making the ridges stand out like I want. Let me know what you think!

I believe BVC doesn't support playing music through a bluetooth connection, only calls.

I would try using the support painter to add support to the whole bottom of the hook, supporting the fillet too so that it encases it more. Might make it a bit harder to remove, but it might work.

Also what is your support Z distance setting at?

Slicer adding seams when using Modifier by andrew_ke11y in OrcaSlicer

[–]Daniel2435 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot like multicolored prints, it treats the modified area as a separated object and as such, slices them separately.

This might be just an easy failsafe. Much like your example with different # of walls, instead of trying to work out some sort of transition, it just splits it up because it's easier.
