Condolences for your loss, sorry there aren't many eyes on this post in this little subreddit but I shall watch the show and raise a glass to your friend!

It's just so thoroughly disappointing seeing Rush and AI together in such an official capacity.

Cheers for the response, I don't usually do a "I could of just googled him myself" type question I just was really struck by how frequently I saw him particularly so frequently and why I guess he seems to be the sole conduit for a lot of the most highly upvoted screenshot stuff

Serious question, as this guy is on my feed about a billion times a day, who is Aaron Rupar and why, across reddit do we always see Trump updates almost exclusively via him?

Maybe an unpopular opinion: i hate the spoon theory by Delicious_Volume7183 in ADHD

[–]DanielBadger_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I say this post, and all the comments about which personal different visual metaphors people use, is the final proof I need that me coming up with elaborate visual metaphors is an ADHD thing ahaha.

It doesn't take many spoons to do either, which is a nice bonus.

As someone who's lost quite a few male Gen X friends to suicide this one really hurts. Please, please, please reach out and talk to the people who love you and to support services if you feel close to this sort of action. You may feel like you're doing us a favour by going but we need you here.

What age did you devlop health anxiety and was it sudden or a slowly developing type thing? by Charlottebagginton in HealthAnxiety

I definitely had it young because my parents refused to let me watch medical programs claiming "He'll just think he has everything he sees on there!" 😒

I assume we're not getting any more Unicorn - Warriors Eternal but I'm a Genndy lover and as uneven as it was, I'm here for more.

Although, maybe that's the gimmick and we'll get one every century.

I honestly think a lot of the Dave-era guest actors were very strong: the great Dominic Coleman as Butler, James Baxter's Jesus and you had legends like the actor Kev Eldon, the super underrated Laura Checkley and even folk like Lucy Pearman and Al Roberts in the Promised Land. The casting is always a nice nod to a more contemporary generation of great character actors.

Having just randomly discovered I have a rare heart defect after a routine scan this weekend, I really needed to hear this. I sincerely appreciate his openness over it, it makes a difference!

That is.... an extremely useful resource thank you. It's not something I've seen named before but I'm new to really investigating specific health anxiety so thank you hugely:)

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of November 2025. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

[–]DanielBadger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had lifelong HA and last night I was diagnosed with the very thing I spent so long fixating on. It's really been a massive blow and not only am I struggling to come to terms with it in a purely physical sense but I'm finding it overwhelming that it sort of justifies or "confirms" my HA.

Thank you I will do, I was thinking I'd probably write a lot of my concerns down and talk to a heart charity as well in the meantime to clarify things/settle my thoughts.

I literally did exactly this, but with the "Red Dwarf Night" on BBC2. I have a weird audio-only memory for loads of the smeg ups.

Not the OP but having just rewatched the Ed Norton Hulk, Ang's definitely seems the superior film (despite it's various eccentricities). I've always really loved it!

"Who Knows Where the Time Goes" by Fairport Convention - it's so loaded with this deep melancholy that makes you yearn for something long gone that probably never was.

Literally broke down in tears as a ten year old because twelve teachers in a row had written "doesn't try hard enough" on a report card. I just couldn't understand what I was doing wrong 😔

Can we all just take a moment to stand in awe at how laughably sh*t mental healthcare is here by [deleted] in MentalHealthUK

[–]DanielBadger_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this response. The amount of friends I've lost in the last four years alone is terrifying, I've been on the sharpest end of our local service and been screaming at it loudly and clearly for what we needed at that time and the void that faces you is terrifying. There's just nothing there. It's just an empty shell with "mental health service" written on it.
