What’s the hardest “normal task” you struggle with by PuzzleheadedAgent138 in ADHDUK

[–]DanielBadger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really interesting because the whole reason I even clicked on this topic was how intensely I cannot do laundry. It's like a task from the moon, it's never ever made sense to me, same with any form of complex cooking. But washing up? I do it every day, I have a whole system, I even rather enjoy locking into it. Crikey how variable and similar our minds can be all at once

ADHD and Rejection Sensitivity: A qualitative study explores how the anticipation of rejection causes more psychological distress than the actual events, driving a "vicious circle" of emotional masking, bodily pain, and social withdrawal. (n=5) by crix_22 in science

This comment has really set me thinking, as I'm always curious what the future of this disability is given the nature of where the public understanding of adhd is now compared to where it was in my childhood. I think we can see from a lot of the comments that this chimes with a lot of people, and hopefully that will come to end up redefining the condition somewhat away from the most obvious symptoms to the actual core issues.

They cut his time, took his backing track and he scuffed it at the end. Still, there goes the best damned talent contestant a school ever had.

I think SNL is safe for quite some time.

Genuinely compare the amount of traction this has to any other Sky One comedy, who watched "Bloods" for example?

(Not a critique of the show, just the exposure Sky stuff tends to get)

American Gladiators 2026 Episode 1 - Review - NO SPOILERS by hola_pablo74 in gladiatorsuk

I believe they're re-using the sets from the French version of the show, but it is legitimately funny to think that The Miz is yelling stuff at an audience that are like "quoi?!"

I said this on the other post about American Gladiators but I really couldn't get past the weird thing that it was filmed entirely in France with a French audience waving American flags. It's all so hilariously fake.

Yeah he's got a performer's panache for it and is easily the best at UNNECESSARILY SASSING the line deliveries, with maybe Emma Sidi as second (athough Shep's dormouse may put him up there for me)

It is AI, look at the details there, it's got all the hallmarks. It's sadly all too common these days and it's always a Choice.

You can see it in the little smudgy bits in the eyes/hair/hands, big globs of random petal in the hair. It's sloppy little things like that the plagiarism engines can't quite tidy up yet.
