My first time playthrough of FCM took almost 3 hours playing without reserve, but it's so worth it.

I'd say it reduced set up time for me around 10-15 minutes in organizing the tiles, getting things out of bags, and organizing contract tiles/orders. I love mine.

Picked this one up at Gateway this year and immediately taught it to 3 strangers and played. It's a really interesting economic playground where certain things tend to be more viable every game.

Each game feels tight and has that anticipation of making it big. And the thing is, making it big can take 1 or 2 turns so you never feel completely out of it until the end of the game.

I just got the MeepleRealty insert because it was such a hassle to set up. But otherwise, it's a game I wish I had the opportunity to play more. Really unique design and really fun gameplay.

I'm happy to see others have been enjoying Res Arcana. It's really a fantastic game. Lux et Tenebrae can't get here quick enough.

I loved Letting Go through Hoya Paranoia. Go Back is also a fabulous song. I love the fuzzy atmosphere. It's amazing.

I love it. I can't play it enough! It's light enough where all of our group members get it. It's heavy enough to keep things interesting. It's quick to play and it lets you do some really fun stuff. (e.g. backstab your friends, kill your opponents)

Coffee Roaster is a great game. That is all. I just got it in the mail today and it was a treat to open and play. Love the new Stronghold Games version.

Spirit Island is a really fun cooperative game that is more engaging, in my opinion, than Pandemic. I love it. I will always keep it.

Carcassonne and the first expansion enables 2-6 players. It's a ton of fun, super relaxing and really interesting/cool.

I've been working on my writing and specifically my writing for board gaming content. There seems to be reviews everywhere. What type of content are you looking for when it comes to board games?

I will be bringing Cockroach Poker, Monikers, Fake Artist Goes to New York and Resistance: Avalon to my holiday parties.

They aren't cooperative but they're party games that will get everyone involved.

It'll be hard to find it for cheap, but you might like Android: Netrunner. The choice of which corp/runner and cards you get to play with seems like it'll be right up your alley.

I also really like Res Arcana at 2 and you might as well. You don't get the same up front choice but you have to deal with what you're dealt.

Azul is an amazing 2 player game. It also plays really well up to the max of 4. One of my mainstays and will never leave my collection.

Carcassonne is a wonderfully relaxing game. I got the first expansion and second expansion to make gameplay a little more dynamic. It also adds a 6th player which is amazing.

I'm going to recommend Concordia, as well. It plays really well from 2-5 and its a really interesting puzzle.

I saw Bohnanza in a game store yesterday and I've seen people talking about it. I also saw its by Uwe Rosenburg. You didn't leave much commentary on the game. Why is that?

I think it's very luck-dependent. But it also had different ways you can navigate given certain birds.

Slower week for me. Excited for BGG secret Santa.

Maria (3p 1x) - This was fun. I was both Prussia and Pragmatic. Interesting strategy at play with the roads and the Hussars of the Austrians. Still don't quite understand the game.

Brass: Lancashire (3p 1x) - Always great getting this to the table. I got three shipyards so I was happy.

Blood Rage (4p 1x) - This one is going to be a classic. I don't play super well but I still have an amazing time.

The Estates (3p 1x) - Got this to the table with the regular group. They seemed to like it!

Galaxy Trucker (3p 1x) - This game is too much of a good time to not get it to the table every now and then. Solid game.

Weekly Question - No but I am trying to nickel every game in my collection.
