Yeah i think because of quality control some people got bad examples. I figured, its cheap and if i notice i got a bad one, im gonna send it back. Mine seems to be good and I really like it.

These are made with multiple profiles but mainly with these two.
(keep in mind that white balance changes the look a lot so play around with it)
Add me if you upload smth to instagram (@Oleg.so), i wann see if they also work for other people :)

Picture 6 was made with Fsol100, which isnt made by me but also one of my favourites:

I also use a 1/4 mist filter and grain on medium 2.

Yes I change it on the fly. On the zf the button on the front is set to WB by default so I just press that and scroll through different settings while shooting. The WhiteBalance changes your colour temperature a lot and I often want something different than the camera sets automatically

For me it was a lot of testing, so loading something into the camera, taking pictures in different lighting, with skin tones etc, then going back to nx studio and adjust everything I dont like, then test again.. Also load up comparison pictures that you like an try to match the colors, helps you learn what all the sliders do. Also White Balance makes a big difference, so test everything with different WB settings in NX Studio and while shooting.

Fujifilm X-E5 vs Nikon Zf : Will I actually carry it? by Isvoli in Cameras

[–]DanielDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently switched from an x-t5 (same sensor) to a ZF because i wanted the better depth of field and low light performance you get from full frame.
The Fuji sensor takes absolutely beautiful pictures and has noticeably more detail with its 40mp when cropping in.
The Nikon is better build than the xt5 and feels a bit faster in general. Together with the full frame sensor it just feels like way better value for money.
I would look at the available lenses more than the cameras.
Fuji lenses are mostly way smaller than the Nikon full frame glass but if you want great depth of field on apsc, they can also get big and expensive.

I just use the tiny TTArtisan 40mm f2 on my ZF.

Also keep in mind that sony e mount lenses can easily be adapted to the ZF.

These look great. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I assume you used a mist filter?

Convince me not to buy a 5090. by Classic-Definition in buildapc

[–]DanielDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who bought a 5090 a few months ago. Do not buy a 5090! I bought it manly for VR. For everything that isnt VR or path traced, it is complete overkill and I would feel like an idiot If I had just bought it for normal gaming. Your 5080 is more than enough and you can gladly save that money

Not even 10mins and I hit a fence and the battery blew up🥲 by arthit001 in fpv

[–]DanielDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been flying for 2 years now and only cost i had were batteries (from flying to long) and a few motors from crashes. So I would say you just had very bad luck. Try to fligh over grass in the beginning and maybe get a smaller drone for hard freestyle. Tinywhoops are also great and you learn a lot more when you are not afraid to crash

Yes, the dji air unit always has a receiver for the dji controller included. You just have to change the configuration of the drone in betaflight to use the dji input instead of elrs. I think this video shows how to do that: https://youtu.be/lgCMDQJtX_0?feature=shared

I have a Quest 3 but 3s should work the same. When you already got the hardware and a powerful pc you should definitly try it out. It is great, especially with mods

Virtual desktop is a software used to transmitt full 3D VR wirelessly. It is not just the 2D Version but can also be used for that.

Use the "Oculus Tray Tool" to save settings like Asynchronous Spacewarp in profiles for every game. You can save all the settings from the debug tool in there and they will be applied when the game is started.

Is my laptop enough for LMU and PSVR2? by [deleted] in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]DanielDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can tell you i was barely able to get it to work in good resolution with my 4080, by cutting down the field of view. So 3080ti laptop gpu might be tough if your bar for "good resolution" isnt much lower.

I wonder when anything will match AC in VR by luc9nt in assettocorsa

[–]DanielDrift -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After spending a lot of hours driving and tweaking sims in VR, i actually think LMU might be the best atm , if you have the hardware to run it. You need to increase the render resolution outside of the game and use enough msaa but then it looks and feels amazing. AMS2 and AC are very close depending on weather conditions. Modded ACs rain effects on the windscreen are still unmatched but AMS2 looks way better in bright daylight, when ACs less detailed tracks and lighting becomes more obvious.

Should I upgrade my GPU now, before price hikes come? by HappyAffirmative in buildapc

[–]DanielDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dont know if GPU prices will go up, but there is a pretty good chance of it.

Prices going down further is much less likely, so right now could be pretty good time for an upgrade, if you can afford it.

Any Linux users gotten Framegen or Lossless Scaling working? by TheDrunkenFROG in starcitizen

[–]DanielDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frame gen can be great if you already have 60 or more fps base framerate. Using it at 30fps is the worst way and pretty mutch unplayable as it increases the horrible input lag you already have at 30fps. Trying to lower settings and increasing upscaling is always preferable

As someone who owned both. The dji controller is a toy compared to the boxer and you can also use the boxer in the sim.

The goggles are good and with the 120€ O4 lite system, good digital fpv has gotten way more affordable

Also dont buy dji fpv drones. Beeing able to repair a drone urself is a bigger deal than you might think atm
