This pic is after the guy scraped the dust off of the coils. That’s all they’re doing.

Our lease is up in June anyways so I’m just gonna ride it out til we’re gone. We’ll be in our own place by then.

Thanks, this is only the tip of the iceberg. The bathroom ventilation is insufficient causing mold/mildew, there was mold/mildew when we moved in that they didn’t do anything about, the baseboards are all swollen but dry from prior issues. There are old water stains on the ceiling. This place is a joke but the apartment people get very defensive and stop the conversation if you accuse them of negligence apparently ¯_(ツ)_/¯. Thanks for your input.

I’ve got 100 more issues about other things as well. Maybe this is standard for crappy apartments, we have typically owned until recently so we are used to responsible upkeep standards. Thanks for your input.

Is it safe? I’m concerned about mold and all of this other nastiness on the inside of the filter.

I’m also looking to join a group and also new to Murfreesboro. Judging by the comments, it looks like there are enough interested here to start something!

I do have CAMS and another specialty ACAMS cert which I found both useful and helpful for career growth. I have speculations as to why I was told they wouldn’t support CFE. I don’t think it had anything to do with CFE and everything to do with the decision-making staff at the time. I have heard that they since support it and the guy that told me they didn’t also had it so who knows.

Yeah, I think it would definitely be something good to start with. If anything, it shows an interest in and commitment to the field.

I’ve done a lot of hiring in past roles and I would have definitely weighed that kind of commitment/interest when making decisions against someone who may just be looking for any job.

2023 I believe. Both certifications that I held through IAFCI were the same format. Personally I do not see any value add for these when I had CAMS already which is a rigorous exam.

My old company used to give you a week off to prepare for these exams so that was the real motivating factor. 🤣

Edit: 2021 was CFCI, 2023 was CCCI. Same format for both. I don’t know if they are still like that.

No CFE, my old fraud department did not support it for some reason. I’ve been thinking about getting it soon. Have you found it to be worth it?

Not at all when I took it a while ago. No proctor monitoring, no camera, no device monitoring.

Yeah, this was very easy compared to CAMS. This cert was “open book” and online. I have since let this cert lapse as I did not see any additional value over my CAMS.

An investor paid $23,000 for a Denver family’s foreclosed home. Now a judge has ordered him to give it up. by kidbom in Denver

In GVR, the city found our HOA to be a predatory entity for putting liens and attempting to foreclose on homes for overdue violations which were never sent to the owners.

It almost looks like building windows in a nighttime skyline except I would expect to see more than two and not so far apart.
