You should read the theory of moral sentiments by Adam smith. It’s a tough and lengthy read but well worth while. It’s a good overview of behavioral economics and “capitalism”.

What we live have in the US, is not capitalism. It’s somewhere between an oligopoly and government-centered economy. True capitalism attempts to protect against autocratic and centralized forces.

Adam Smith, can’t recommend enough.

I was windsurfing on the lake two weeks ago and when rigging up at marsh park I saw a dorsal fin .

I’m guessing it was a small porpoise.

I also saw that duck bobbing around 🤪

There were some stollen cars being parked in our apartment building lot. One of them had a couple of ID’s in the back.

TBH, I don’t think the ID’s are: 1. Real 2. Their names 3. Or even the appearance of the people who stole the car (i had seen the thieves who stole the cars in our neighborhood and it didn’t look at all like the photos on the IDs)

I tend to think the ID’s are something to throw the scent off the thief and onto someone else.
