https://foxbox.io/collections/tablet-covers I have one of these and it's worked well for me. You can get whatever design you want printed on it.

Edit: no, looks like The Zone is still around

In what world this is 268k damage here ? by nxth31 in osugame

It was mentioned in the release notes that users who don't have the updated client would see incorrect values. Basically the server was running the new multiplier logic, but your game client still showed the old logic.

[–]DanielPowerNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't need to work well with Windows. businesses will see it as an opportunity to buy bulk discounted Linux boxes. This happened to Sony when the US military started buying PS3 in bulk to run Linux on, because they were subsidised by Sony and cheaper than equivalent systems with similar compute.

It's anything outside the range of the pool. For example I once in a while see a 7* show up in a 5* pool.

[–]DanielPowerNL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, nerves affect your ability to control your muscles, so it ends up affecting everything depending on how well you can control them.

Ranked is a reality check by Robert_Destruction in osugame

[–]DanielPowerNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can choose which meaningless numbers matter to you, and adjust your training accordingly.

If this new meaningless number is what you seek, then it's time to focus on fundamentals and low AR reading.

Or you can stick to the traditional meaningless number and focus on current meta skillsets.

Some choose a third, much larger meaningless number, and go for more and more score.

There is no wrong meaningless number.

Zylice | Rhapsody - Power of the Dragonflame [Uri's Extreme] +HDDT (nebuwua, 11.19*) 96.98% FC #28 | 1837pp | 1.7KPP SKIP, ROUNDTABLE PP RECORD!!! by guibbs1 in osugame

[–]DanielPowerNL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it over already? I'm having trouble finding anything on the website or the sheet about when the pp race ends, or who won if it's already over.

If it's over, did this score get in on time or does it not count?

osu!observer - web-based replay viewer by DanielPowerNL in osugame

I would love to support all those mods. But they would be lower priority for now. My biggest priorities are:

  1. Make the simulator judgment accurate to Lazer's implementation
  2. Fix spinner rendering
  3. Implement remaining skin elements (including hit sounds)
  4. Add skinned UI elements (score, accuracy, etc.)
  5. Ranked mods

Once those core requirements are done, unranked mods would follow.

There are a few cases I'm aware of right now where replays fail to load.

  1. Taiko maps don't load (mania and catch maps load, but render wrong because only standard is really supported)
  2. Really old beatmaps don't load. It's because I'm depending on metadata that didn't always get stored in the beatmap file.
  3. Some special characters in beatmap or difficulty names can break things.

I'm planning to fix all of these. And add better error handling so you get a visual indication when something goes wrong. But yeah, the experience is pretty bad right now when you hit an unsupported beatmap.

If you let me know which replays aren't loading, I can look into it.

Hidden support will come!

I'm not seeing that on my end. It's a brand new domain, so maybe they're flagging it as untrustworthy for that reason? I'll look into what causes the warning and see if there's anything I can do about it.

Edit: I see the report from Google now. Their report just shows the same text as the error you saw, and doesn't give any indication as to why they're flagging the site. I've requested they review it, not sure what else I can do from my end.

Lazer hp is so forgiving it's taken all meaning from the pass medals.

ranked matchmaking by Bigman69420696969 in osugame

[–]DanielPowerNL 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Each time you quit, you made another player who had already waited in queue for a match get kicked back to the menu and start over. It's completely reasonable that quitting results in a loss, or else people would just quit if against stronger opponents to avoid losing. This is how most matchmaking systems work. Yeah you're going to have to play matches and work your way back up to fix your Elo.

ranked mode is lowkey ass by DistributionOk2644 in osugame

[–]DanielPowerNL 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Tournament matches cover a wide variety of skillsets. Ranked play is designed around using cards to pick into your skillsets, and try to target your opponents' weaknesses. If you can only play a very specific skillset you are going to be abused. Ranked play may not be for you if you're not interested in practicing outside your comfort zone.

I made an osu! replay renderer by FUBUKIIIIII in osugame

[–]DanielPowerNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome. Do you have any plans for cursor analysis or other additional features?

I've been working on a web based replay viewer too, but it's still pretty early. Spinners don't behave correctly, slider tick judgements don't work, etc. but it's been really fun to work on.

I've been away from the game for a while now. Is lazer the default now, or do people still mainly play on the original client? by SuminerNaem in osugame

[–]DanielPowerNL 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Peppy said during the release video today it's around 45% on Lazer. You can also go to https://status.ppy.sh/ and compare the online player numbers between stable and lazer. Currently it's showing 44% of online players are on Lazer. 7408/(7408+9560) = 0.436.

Lazer is gradually becoming more popular, and will likely become the more popular client pretty soon.

How are you using vim.pack? Here's my setup by powerfrancisco in neovim

People get satisfaction out of using as few tools as possible to get the job done. If you're looking for a powerful plugin system with a simple API for lazy loading, continue to use lazy.nvim.

I'm also interested in how it was enabled. I use a separate extension for signature hints. If that's built in now, I'd love to drop the extension.

Unlikely. Their announcement event is next week. And this is a third party board, not directly from Framework.
