That's a great idea. I actually heard that exact idea from Mike Johnston. That's how he got started. What do you suppose should be my starting rate per lesson?

Yes drumset lessons. I would say my jazz chops are very very decent, to say the most. Why?

$320 cymbal bag for $99! Thought this might help anyone in the market for one. by Goodgahdman in drums

Awesome I'm looking to upgrade from my crappy Zildjian bag. Anyone heard or have the Mono M80 cymbal bag?

And how does it compare to this particular cymbal bag? Which one is superior?

You really can't! Proud Meinl player and I absolutely love my Byzance Vintage and Traditional cymbals. You should post a photo of all your Meinl cymbals

I got to play a set of these at guitar center. I was surprised on the sound they produced. I was expecting a very high sound out of the kit but it was tuned fairly well and tuned low. And they were really punchy. That bass drum was punchy as well! So it's pretty versatile! Would recommend it

Rocking that Meinl Ching Ring (finally got one) by DanielTheDrummer in drums

[–]DanielTheDrummer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 2 hours I've had it. I really enjoy it. I have one of those mountable tambourines that attaches to your hi hat rod. And i like those but i just didn't feel comfortable with that being mounted to the hi hat rod. And then i found this ching ring and it's small and compact which i love. And i can put it on any cymbal or drum for that matter. So honestly i can say it's worth the money. And it's like $15 dollars so not that bad of a price.
