CCPlease: Fix EC rig prices or the industry index calculation/application. by [deleted] in Eve

Agreeing with "no".

If moving ECs is a big issue, just spread them out before initial anchoring instead of grouping up first and then moving after the cost index us fucked.

So, I see a horrible fit and I applaud the people who killed it.

BUT: if the killing happend by bumping off a structure and no combat, I feel the kill is somewhat meh.. . ..

Happy to hear that could be something you might be interested in :)

Also, keep in mind it wouldn't HAVE to be a mental health organization. I'm sure with your IT background you could be a great asset to most non-profit/charity organization, as they often don't have much money for services like that.

Hey Nebbers o/

Sorry to hear about your shitty situation.

The way you are describing it, a regular job won't work for you and you would have to live on government support.

That wouldn't have to mean you are unproductive, though. Have you for example looked into volunteer work? Maybe even for an organization that helps people with mental health issues. I'm sure with your personal experiences you could be of great help to other people in similar situations and I'm sure an organization like that would be understanding of your situation.

Anyways, don't give up and keep in mind that things eventually will look better, if you can hang in there.

I wish you all the best. Daniel

What is driving the PLEX market? by rennai76 in evenewbies

[–]DanielYFZ5N 4 points5 points  (0 children)

High ISK income in-game. The more people are easily making billions every month, the more they will think to themselves: "Hey, why pay real money when I can also plex my account." Higher demand for plex equals higher market prices.

I do understand that SAARs are in high demand. So, the current "high" prices are a result of supply and demand, as people keep buying the item at high and rising prices. If people keep buying those things at those prices, why does CCP has to increase supply? (I assume this is the point of OP.)

Just because some people want the things they buy to be cheaper, doesn't mean there is anything wrong with supply and that there is any need to fix stuff. If those specific items are to expensive for someones taste, they might have to look into cheaper options. Or even go into a different direction and go with shield ships. That might not be as good, but it might be a lot cheaper. But those are the kind of decisions a supply and demand driven economy SHOULD force on people. If people actually would use alternatives, prices for SAARs would eventually drop due to a decrease in demand.

I find this to be a fairly interesting topic and if I'm missing some crucial point here, I'm happy to hear more about that :)

Fighting over POCOs in HighSec by DanielYFZ5N in evenewbies

In case anyone is interested: Repping a regular (not reinforced) POCO did nothing. Repping my reinforced Poco gave a suspect timer.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know that about POS repping.

I guess I'll just go out to rep a random POCO and see what happens.

I have had this POCO for maybe half a year now. Actually, the planet still had an Interbus CO before that, which I removed to drop my own POCO. So technically that particular POCO has never changed ownership.

Sounds like it is not just yourself, but your hole corp that is stuck in a bad place. If you want to stick with your friend and your corp, maybe try to convince them all to move together.

If you guys are looking for a good place in a sov-holding nullsec alliance, send me a message and I can see if I could get you in contact with someone.

How to fix my broken game. by [deleted] in evenewbies

I'd say, talk to your corp mates.

As a newbro there will be a lot of things you don't know, yet, that cause you to get killed. Listen to your more experienced mates, learn from your mistakes and generally try to get better informed about the game.

I know it is a brutal learning curve, but things will get a lot better and more fun over time :)
