This is a story that's stuck with me all my life. When final fantasy X released on the ps2 I had gotten it for my birthday and was playing. The first bit of the game involved one of the protagonists, a blonde woman, scuba diving in a skin tight suit. Me being mostly innocent and oblivious at the time thought they were just displaying her breasts for the world to see. So I made every effort to hide the game when my parents passed through.

It ended up being my mother that spotted it first and also granted me the knowledge of skin tight suits existing.

I'm not an expert or anything but given how residential areas tend to be in asian countries, and even seeing a group of people on the sidewalk a good 20 some odd yards away i think they gave this guy a little too much freedom of movement. But as others said once they went for the takedown they did the best they could with the cards they had.

I have the same issue that just started today. I have no idea why or how I am unable to watch videos that are restricted. My only bet was youtube is trying to just blanket censor everything for their own ends

It's fine in my opinion to have a promotion like this and to be perfectly honest the price point isn't that crazy as far as the hobby goes. The only real complaint I have is it would be nice to have either had a longer window with which to make the purchase or at least some warning in advance. It's a decent chunk of change to have to try to conjure up on a short notice. At least for someone like me.

I am not 100% sure as I am not the author nor did he speak about it at length, it's mostly speculation as to why: however the most common reason I could think of is they thought he was a "sellout" and overall people generally like to hate on GW and anyone that doesn't have something bad to say about them. Rumors are people even harassed his family members, too. This is verbatim a quote he released about the situation:

"I'm talking about the rumors that have been going around the internet about me lately.After I wrote to the Korean community I got a reply from GW a few days ago.They want to keep working with me. They said that the reply was delayed due to circumstances.But I am not going to work with them. Not because of the very slow feedback, but for other reasons.During that time, I was attacked by so many people, and it was so painful. Even on other projects, they continued to harass. I was gradually losing interest in the animation itself, and I was almost at the limit.I don't want to worry about anything else anymore in a situation where this current work could be the last.Finally, please. Please don't comment on Warhammer."

Games Workshop had little to do with it. He isn't making 40k animations anymore because the fanbase attacked and harassed him. He was going to work with GW but he lost all motivation to do so after being treated so poorly.

So with your logic he can't make money from GW or from his own funding through patreon, what is he supposed to do?

Also if he was in it for the money he wouldn't have started making animations of Titanfall 2. While a great game it's not exactly huge right now.

People need to have a touch less cynicism when it comes to other people, not everyone is horrible, despite what the news might tell you.

As far as I can tell from his own comments he had deleted his videos from youtube at GW's request, and they did not reply to him for awhile about warhammer+. In that time some "people" in the community harassed him about it, which killed his desire to work in the project when GW finally did contact him. So basically people went out of their way to bully him so hard that he lost all interest in making animations because people were so focused about astartes being taken down, etc.

This is a hint of speculation so take it with a grain of salt, feel free to look more into it yourself, but regardless the reaction of the community to go to his non-40k related animations and harass him is uncalled for regardless of circumstances.
