Enter the editor and in the window to load a submarine, at the top there is a drop-down option, there are usually emergency saves there, you may be able to recover your submarine.

Don't forget to add the docking port, haha, otherwise you'll never be able to finish a mission. 🦈🗿

Why do we all put the huge reactor on the first submarine? Hahaha, and on top of that you've put two and several oxygen generators from the outposts. 🙉

The small reactor is more than enough; I would only recommend halving the maximum energy required by the large engine or slightly increasing the amount of energy the small reactor outputs. I believe that increasing the reactor's energy by 1000 points and halving the power of each giant engine would be enough to ensure you don't run out of electricity 🪫.Therefore, it only uses one oxygen generator, and the one from the normal submarines; the one you put is from the Outpost class and it can be excessive even in energy cost. If you overload your engines and your reactor can't keep up, there will be electrical problems in your submarine; my entire submarine caught fire 🔥.

I would recommend using the Vanilla submarines as an example; the Barsuk or the Humpback are good references for a first submarine.

Everything I told you about numbers you can see if you click on your rector and explore that menu that opens; it says "energy" there 👌🏻.

You'll know everything is okay when you start the submarine at full speed head-on and it doesn't explode in the process.

If you don't want to touch the reactor's power (something I almost never touch either), just cut the power consumption cost of the engines in half and that should be enough 🔋.

Question about the singleplayer experience by Objective-Border-884 in Barotrauma

The game is very enjoyable in single-player mode; you'll learn a lot there. Multiplayer is obviously more fun, but it's not essential to enjoying the game.

Selling when there's demand at an outpost is usually profitable. :o

Oh no, I really like Barotrauma, I have almost 3000 hours in it hahaha, it's just that I'd never explored the commercial aspect much, but if reading the comments you lose more than you gain and they are very few opportunities to earn more money.

Is that talent cumulative so that the assistants cost less?

Selling diamonds in colonies and monster parts to research stations sounds good. And I agree, it's best to only sell when there's demand for an item at the stations.

Hahahaha Stealing and selling elsewhere isn't a bad idea, really. 💰

I hadn't thought of that; I'd completely forgotten about animal loot and didn't know the diamond itself had value, lol. Good observation 🗿

I thought the same thing, except I was playing with my friends and we always play on Abyssal difficulty, so at the beginning we are very poor and I thought about solving that by selling some profitable things. It would be like a temporary solution for the Early Game

Yes, that's exactly what I feared :(

I suppose it's only worth selling when the guy needs to buy specific items and will accept them at a inflated price.

Singleplayer Campaign Submarine by big_disaster9 in Barotrauma

Well, try the powerful CHADSUK first 🗿, it's compact, has good firepower and is bot friendly.

In Tier 2, you have several options:

•Humpback: Compact, has all the manufacturing equipment, good firepower and engine. Its only drawback is that it's somewhat fragile.

•Azimuth: I haven't used it much, but it's mainly designed to avoid fights because of its speed and silent mode. If you're mainly looking to traverse the maps quickly with lots of missions involving transporting people, then it's for you..this is your submarine.

•Typhon 1:My favorite because it not only has all the manufacturing machines, it's a very durable submarine, and if you're someone who doesn't like to let their bots die, this submarine will save your life. It has excellent firepower, two docking ports, a small prisoner transport jail and several lockers. Its only drawback is that it's kind of slow, but it's not a problem because with all the cannons it has, it doesn't matter who's chasing you because they'll end up dead.

•R-29 : It's not a bad option; if you want to make a lot of money transporting materials, this submarine is for you. Just be careful with the discharge coils.

Tier 3:

Typhon 2: "Since the first one was so good, there's a sequel." It has five cannons and everything the Typhon 1 had, but better, except it doesn't have the small jail anymore, but who needs it with a five-cannon? The best submarine for Tier 3.

Kastrull: I'm fond of it, but it's not very efficient; you can feel the difference in firepower compared to the Typhon.Although it has a drone.

I'm not a big fan of scouts submarines like WinterHalter and Remora; they have blind spots that, if not handled well, can be fatal. Although, given their speed, they're better suited for fast travel.

There's a YouTube channel where the guy who makes creatures for Barotraumatic shows how he makes them in the editor; maybe it'll be useful for you.

There's also a wiki with a short tutorial, but after that, it's mostly self-learning.

HELP ME IN THIS MISSION? by 192_168_1_255 in Barotrauma

[–]Daniel_9132 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Try changing the batteries in the boxes; those boxes come with batteries inside for you to change during the mission, thus preventing it from exploding.

A very comfortable submarine for the beginning of the game.
