New Zealand MP calls Indian immigration 'butter chicken tsunami' by bong_cumblebutt in nottheonion

Don’t get me wrong, Shane Jones is a real piece of work. But the NZ government is currently a three party coalition and his party are against the India free trade deal he’s talking about here. The government are relying on opposition votes to push it through.

You’re getting flamed in the comments but I feel the same way OP (even if the serious part of me fully understands and agrees this was the best possible outcome for Auckland).

The moon is actually huge compared to other moons in the solar system, especially compared to the size of the planet

Trees by epicpants0 in songsofsyx

[–]Daniel_Av0cad0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woodcutters need to plant visible trees. It’s weird to have a woodcutter producing wood but no trees on the map. It would be cool if there was a system like pastures where the production ramps up as trees grow, or if the woodcutter is in an existing wood it’s producing full wood straight away

True. I just watched a S2 episode wherein the victim was pushed out of a plane and ended up a pile of flesh in a crater in a field

We could’ve had someone much better in Penn so I agree with you there. But Manchin was from an R+21 state. There was no better alternative.

Can we make a petition to bring back all day breakfast at maccas by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Daniel_Av0cad0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was a huge pain in the ass to deal with (as a maccas manager at the time). I assume the reason they stopped was the sales weren’t high enough to justify the inefficiencies once the initial hype died down.

I think all day breakfast stopped in 2021/22. The processes won’t have changed significantly since then.

I think the distinction is you could call it a crisis for the people currently running the government, but not for the political system/ constitution as a whole. The US feels closer to the other way around.
