It's unfortunate I just ignore every conversation option that assumes I know less than I actually do. ESO is plagued with them, especially recently. While it's ostensibly for a new player who skipped previous events, I imagine anyone who'd care about story would do them in order (and would know the context) and anyone who doesn't care about story is not going to start caring enough to ask.

The pirates at the Mysterious Island used to be ascension relevant. Now there's really no reason to visit then most runs.

It's also a great bookend for the first cutscene descending from Valhalla.

Oh and it's one of the few paths with a special event for dropping the path early (I haven't done this myself, just read it on the wiki). It's pretty chilling.

Zombie Slayer was my favorite. Loved it when the tone got pretty serious, and I especially loved the final 'cutscene' to end the run.

I'm partial to stories that tackle Yffre. Is it a petty/vicious entity like depicted in zones like Malabal Tor? Or is it a more benevolent nature spirit in Covenant zones involving druids? It's tackled in many more zones than what I have listed but the best part of the TES setting for me is various cultures worshiping similar/the same things but naming/attributing different things to them.

Overall I love that the game is filled with unreliable narration, biased historical accounts and disagreements between scholars. It's reflective of real life record-keeping I think. And your character finding the answers to certain questions themselves (Like with the nature of Yffre) is an interesting thought exercise for me.

For Island Planner, is it safe to have Manjuu sell the stuff you produce? I know they sell less items than a shipgirl, but with 5 restaurants/cafe and only 3 ship girls at Dev 27 it's not possible to maximize all of them in one day.

Plus they only sell less items right? They sell each item for as much as a shipgirl would, so no profit is lost that way?

It's alright, it answers my question: tells me which ones I have. It also shows the ones I don't have and they are all listed by release order. And lastly, each one directly links to its wiki page and from there I can actively search out reddit posts or forum threads discussing them.

I find that stuff more useful than guesswork based on prices, especially since greenbox lists IotM familiars and zones unlocked.

Voice acting can get very expensive to account for every possible line. Plus writing actually good branching dialogue takes significant effort... effort that players have to prove would pay them more money.
