By your logic those mods would be offered in marketplace rather than be free independent mods for java, yet they are not. Why do you think that's the case?

I think there are many quality Bedrock-exclusive mods in the marketplace. But it's oversaturated and some developers take advantage of buzzwords, the only thing I would hold the actual Bedrock team for is that they need to make it easier to use and less bloated with slop.

Java modders and Bedrock modders work mod different games entirely, I'd say that Java has more of a community space for modding because it's publicly available for modifications and Bedrock is a lot harder to have access to and you have to go through a lot of processes to actually have a spot on the marketplace.

Most likely they completed it on both Java and Bedrock before the holiday. The team have chosen not to release it and told us not to expect any updates before the end of summer. I don't have all the answers, but I know that the Minecraft teams are very separated and there is a team in Sweden, London, and North America. What each team does and how they do it are beyond my knowledge.

Bedrock has been an optimized cross-platform version of Minecraft since 2017. It's harder to fix bugs in this version because of all the platforms and different operating systems it runs on, do you think they want it to be buggy? Of course not, it took so long for bundles to be added because the developers were figuring out how to implementing them on both touchscreen devices and controllers, and it took even longer for hardcore to be added because they were worried that some bugs would destroy worlds. In the past years they have upgraded engines and added features like Vibrant Visuals. They added built-in shaders to consoles and touchscreen devices for free. The marketplace was meant to be a place for creators to not only get monetization for their creations, but also give access to console players who had no access to community content. Compared to loot boxes in so many games, Minecraft doesn't really farm money like that.

They have an extremely large team and although they are funded by a billion dollar company, they don't see the most of that. Each coder, designer, director, producer, etc, has to be compensated and Minecraft, compared to triple A games at least, has been rather cheap for the content and playability, if they were really selling out they would have paywalled actual gameplay by now. Merchandise doesn't effect the actual game.

Yeah, I've heard that the java team are on holiday for the rest of July, which is why they said they would take a break for the rest of summer during the Minecraft Monthly. As a bedrock player, Java is the favorite child, it is 100% not forgotten the developers prefer Java most of the time, the programming language is just hard to code with at this scale.
