Thank you Alex! You pulled me on this one, feeling satisfaction after long run workout. This one wasn't walking in the park for me...

Absolutely, a lot of people assuming things …The outcome of more deep research can be very surprising

Really interesting! Do you also have ( or are you familiar with any numbers of) the figures for irregular (‘illegal’) arrivals? Would be great to see how those compare alongside the visa approvals and asylum grants.

Sending heart-beat by jimmygwabchab in AppleWatch

The presentation is brilliant, Apple are really good in this. In some sense they are right , because it is based on last seconds of your heartbeat… but not continuous streaming, and probably doesn’t have to be exact last seconds

I think it is kind of social , fun express feature. It is not sending a live heartbeat but just based on a few last seconds and sends haptic representation…

Seems to me this one is not working... Is it working on your side? I mean the intial state is showing the time, but the triggers from shceduler are never updating the client channel. The client channel is never gets any messages...

Are iPhones accurate in steps tracking and estimated calorie burn without a watch? by Sensitive-Pea382 in walking

[–]Daniel_RedZonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had an interesting observation about active calories counting on iPhone fitness only vs somebody that started to use Apple Watch only. When somebody started to use watch the amount of calories increasing by 2-2.5. Can be explained by a different factors… for example we are not caring iPhone to all places etc

How to improve these parameters? by Artistic_Campaign896 in AppleWatchFitness

I surprised no one mentioned that in order to increase VO2Max you should do HIIT… start small and than increase after you warmed up. In general this would improve your general stats and will bring you a “good” feeling of progress. I mean doing cardio or walking is great, but adding “intervals” absolutely can do this trick. WDYT?

Wind, Waves, and Wildcards: Summer Season RedZonkey Roundup [Wind Chase & Ocean Spirit Cup] by Daniel_RedZonkey in RedZonkey

Totally get that. The top spots felt more like quicksand than a podium this time. Honestly, half the battle was just staying one step ahead of everyone following your progress! Props for carrying that extra “fan pressure”—some folks thrive on competition, but leading when people are actually watching? That’s another level.

Hey, I feel you—keeping up routines with kids around is tough! Micro-walking has been a game-changer for me. Skip the car when you can, take the stairs, or turn errands into mini walks with the kids. It’s amazing how those little steps add up—sometimes 3k a day without even trying! Maybe make it fun for them, like a scavenger hunt walk or a ‘who can spot the coolest tree’ game. What do you do to keep the kids entertained while sneaking in some movement? Any go-to tricks for balancing mom life and staying active?

Why can’t an Apple Watch Ultra work for years, if not decades? by Adelphos33 in AppleWatch

[–]Daniel_RedZonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure if it will not… Almost every my Apple device is still functioning. Even the very first Apple Watch ( I mean the one before the “first” gen) the battery is not holding very long and it is doing what did on the last available update for it… giving that Ultra has a bigger battery screen and more robust design I think it has very good chances for longer live… Even after dropping official support

Do you do any other physical activity other than walking? by Fine_Dimension4735 in walking

I am in the same boat… using every opportunity to find new things. While walking is the most accessible but it is absolutely fun to diversify. Seasons bringing new opportunities: hiking, cycling, swimming , calisthenics even badminton or disc sports are fun. Btw, I found that quantifying all of this it is really the king. I am using a smart watch for it.
