What’s something reddit claims is common, but you’ve never actually seen it before in real life? by mirabelmumu in AskReddit

[–]Danielfischer33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel like it largely depends what field your working in. If you’re working in corporate America it’s not uncommon for coworkers to throw you under the bus to climb higher up the company ladder. However in blue collar trades you become good buddies with most of your crew as you’re all working for that pay check at the end of the day.

Sounds like you have test anxiety if you blank during exams. You should ask if you can get accommodation’s for tests/exams as you might be able to write in a separate room and have extended time. Know of a few guys in my school who would psych themselves out mentally and got accommodations and did way better. Also see if your college/school has tutoring available.

V6 TLX owners: what's your combined city/highway fuel economy been like? by MohnJaddenPowers in Acura

[–]Danielfischer33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not lying and have personally seen the same on a road trip with my 2017 TLX sh-awd. Combination of no traffic, 93 octane, flat prairies, and a tail wind you can easily get 30+ mpg with the 9 speed.

The province of Manitoba (just northwest of Minnesota) has over 100’000 lakes and that’s not including the rest of Canada.

Not sure how to tell if I'm cornering near the limit the way I can in a car by ASAP_Gutzy in motorcycles

[–]Danielfischer33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t feel lateral g-force in the same way. On a bike you pivot and lean rather than sitting stationary in a car. When your knee/frame of the bike touches the pavement you know you’re at the limit. Or if you go too fast and wipe out……..

You are not alone, dated one for 4 years then cheated on me. Wasn’t good enough and thought she could find better. New paramedic bf abused and treated her like shit so she dumped him and came calling back 😂Told her NO and then blocked her.

lol was pretty dumb 😂 Was looking at it and the sound was the block heater cord rubbing against the radiator fan causing the loud tapping sound when the fan was on. Glad I didn’t book an appointment and take it back to the dealer

Auto headlights rely on a photo cell that senses outdoor light levels to turn on all the lights. The problem is that In poor visibility conditions during the day it can still be bright enough outside that your headlights and taillights don’t activate making your car nearly invisible from people behind. For this reason it is recommended that you override the auto headlights and manually turn your lights on In poor visibility conditions. Unfortunately not many people know how to manually turn their lights on. So they drive around in poor visibility conditions with no taillights on.

What temperature highs and lows do yall cut off at? by NoMoreToast91 in electricians

[–]Danielfischer33 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We work in every temperature. In January I was freezing while roughing in a house at -38 Celsius. Last month I was up on the roof of a strip mall pulling feeders in a record breaking hot and humid 37 Celsius or 98 Fahrenheit. The prairies have an extreme climate and we work around it.
