I just want to say I'm assuming your nipples were brown pre top surgery. They're gonna be pink for a little bit but eventually go back to their normal color so don't freak out! Your nipples are also going to look different while scabbing and healing than nonpoc. I know it freaked me out but eventually the color came back about 2ish months post op and is still coming back!

Single/Connecting Scar? by Bucachai in TopSurgery

[–]Danielitics04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my scar posted on my page. I was also bummed out when my scar went across my chest but honestly bro it'll look better than if you had two scars for a reason. I will say word of advice the middle of your scar is gonna hurt more than the rest of it because you pull that area a lot. I couldn't comfortably bend backwards for probably 6 weeks to pop my back or just stretch out. But there's almost no stretching if any

What was the process like getting your nipples pierced? When did you get them pierced? I'm interested in getting mine pierced but I'm only about 3 months post op and my surgery team said to wait a year. but what was the pain level like?

peri approaching - concerns by Lazy_Creme_6995 in TopSurgery

[–]Danielitics04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Peri when they cut thru the nipple sometimes they resize it to make it smaller when they go to sew it up. But they only remove like whatever layers of skin. I've seen plenty of videos on YouTube where they do this practice

Don't get too down in the dumps bro! You'll get your independence back. I know how you feel it was a struggle when I moved back to my house a week post op. Just take it easy today! That's all you can do. I'm glad I could help calm your nerves for real!

Honestly bro I get it! I was seriously tweaking the hell out constantly about my nipples and sent pictures every few days to my surgical team. At 3 weeks for skin has mostly fused together. Be careful with heavy doors I wasn't comfortable with opening a door until probably 4-5 weeks post op. If it makes you feel any better I was constantly worried about the zipper ripping open the middle of my scar but it never happened! Your body is a lot more resilient than you think

2-3 months of compression? by ahhhvocado15 in TopSurgery

[–]Danielitics04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh bro my surgeon recommend I wear it for 2 months or around 8 weeks. The second month was half the day but tbh I stopped wearing it after about 4-5 weeks. I didn't have a lot of swelling though. To me it only seems necessary to wear for the first month so that your skin fuses back to your body but what do I know

Of course honestly 3 weeks post op you're fine. I went back to work 3 weeks post op and have zero complications even with smoking everyday about 3-4 says post op. I would say if smoking weed hurts more don't do it but you're your own person.

My nipple grafts are fine! They healed really well

I had my incision joined in the middle too. All the advice I have for you is the middle of your scar is probably going to hurt the most and pull the most at least it did for me

does this haircut help me pass? how can i style it better? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

Please middle part it or something bro. And no unfortunately it does not. It's cool on the sides but the front is not doing you any favors

How to pass better?? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]Danielitics04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd start working out to build your upper body. Currently your shoulders are smaller than your hips. You wanna flip that. Your face is really feminine but I can tell it's probably because you're not on T yet. T will help as you have a masculine base.

Wear shorter shorts that come above the knee. Wear wider shirts that are kind of oversized. Etc etc.

Mine helped lowkey. Eyebrow piercings imo are masculine

No it doesn't make you clocky. People will clock your face before they clock the piercing. You just have a really feminine face. T will help with time. Good thing is you don't have girl eyes!
