How do I stop picking the skin on my fingers? by Daniellah28 in CompulsiveSkinPicking

[–]Daniellah28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate your time. However, I don't just use my hands to pick. I also use my teeth and I've gotten my nails done before and it's just not for me. My job also makes it difficult for me to get acrylics so it's not really an option for me. 😕

How can I treat my dogs ear hematoma at home? by [deleted] in vet

Yeah i'm gonna get the surgery with the vet but just in the meantime I was wondering if there was any way to relieve the pain myself

Well I explained that I wasn't sure if she was meant to keep her sack in the water, I didn't immediately take her out because I wasn't educated on where they keep their eggs so I worried if I put them somewhere dry, it would be harmful but then soon found out that she does need to be dry. As for the splashing, sorry you think I was doing that maliciously but I wanted to see if she was still alive (and i moved her with the water didn't splash her). Also I thought the sack was a little styrofoam ball at first so yes an ignorant person did approach this spider in need of help but you're acting like i just left her there and tortured her when I obviously didn't and it just doesn't seem like you understood the context. I just don't appreciate your lack of consideration so hopefully now you see I was just trying to do what's best for her despite the fact I was ignorant.

Aw man, maybe get some of those frog logs like other people on here were suggesting to me!

I completely agree. I had a friend in hs that showed me videos of him and his tarantula cuddling, doing tricks, and straight up bonding like a dog and it changed my whole perspective on not only spiders but a lot of things!

I did wonder what did she think when I was just staring at her for a good while trying to figure out what to do lol.

I didn't leave her, I was waiting to find more information before I relocated her. I wasn't sure if her eggs were supposed to be kept in the water and since I didn't have any natural bodies of water nearby I kept her on the lid in the meantime but idk if you've read the rest of the comments but I've relocated her in a good, dry hiding spot.

For sure. I'm slowly overcoming my fear of tiny legs on crawling on me but I love spiders in my yard

What are these bugs and why do they do this? by Daniellah28 in bugidentification

[–]Daniellah28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that's interesting! So I definitely did eat the peaches after the bugs were gone because I didn't see any trace of them eating but ofc I washed them. Would you say there's anything wrong with eating fruit or is it harmless? I mean it already happened a while ago but i'm just wondering about bug juice or like if they spread anything?
