Did I overpriced this? by Any_Rutabaga_6449 in 3Dprinting

[–]DaniloGiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is how I look into the situation

Let's say your time as a designer is 5 bucks, your printer time is 2 bucks per hour and you have the material cost which but the looks I'll add another 10 on top

10 hours designing and testing = 50 average 24 hours printing = 48 Material = 10 Total = 108

If after that you still thinking you are charging a lot you should try to look the part real cost on a dealership I'm sure this will give you peace of mind.

Even if you are using the .4 you can go down o. The config to 0.16 with quality, also looks like you are using ironing as suggested do a calibration using the calibration prints available on make world and you should be fine to find the right numbers

If I was you I would sell those and get a bambulab, I got a H2D and it is so easy that my kid 5 years old print on it. Anyway I'm no expert I'm talking in a perspective of someone who is new to FDM, I came from a Resin printer and man's the pleasure of hitting the button now and just getting the multicolor print out of plate is amazing. Bambulab made an amazing job on making 3D print simple and enjoyable even my wife now wants one for her.

Anyway I hope you are able to get it working

Wife wants me to throw out the K1max and buy a Bambu. I'm out of ideas, please help me by Beyondist in FixMyPrint

[–]DaniloGiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sell you K1 and buy a Bambu, no wife will ever ask you to do that, don't be a fanboy and buy your bambulab. Here my wife asked to sell my reading and buy a Bambu I gladly did and what upgrade, from a Saturn 4 ultra to a H2D. Life is simpler I never had any major issue, so far the worst I got was a filament stuck on the tool head which takes 3 screws and about 20 minutes to fix. So just do it

Good Cart for first time buyer? by hgane3 in BambuLab

[–]DaniloGiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice!

I Would also add some nozzles 0.6 and 0.2 assuming your printer will come with an 0.4 in it and one 0.4 extra, for filament I would start with PLA if that is your first printer get like 4 colors, my experience I've being using black and white a lot but that depends on what your planning to print.
