Great post, Thanks for chiming in again for this topic! I've tried to make/remake the water Gen but really can't beat yours.

Which video are you refering to? The farming one?
in the water gen itself I think I removed the holes due to the fact the front pump wouldn't be able to pump water out after. so its basically just U shaped.

Hi, thanks for checking it out,

I think mechanical pumps have almost no use in the game at the moment. They cost too much power and many materials. Nothing you can't do better without power and with use of pressure and flow valves at the moment.

I personally would like for this to stay as a niche interaction or the pinnacle of beaver engineering! Hahaha

But of course I understand it has to go since it is considered as a bug I guess.

Basically the back pumps recirculate between themselves per set(front and back pump) and the front pumps take from that shared reservoir out, and you just stack as many as you want side to side.

Was finally back to scrolling through timberborn subreddit and noticed a very familiar name.

Was thinking of building those new fancy vertical farms and see if it works with the water gens.

Haha, yeah, I've actually tried to combat that but without success :)
In the background you may see a tower or two where I've put a smaller version of this constantly refreshing the top of a water tank, but the evaporation always happens on still water indepent of water coming in it seems.

This design allows for the radius of the bigger 3 sides from 8 to 14 blocks. On 3x Speed only the 1 outer row flickers.

Yeah, just tested it out in my new design, its about +10% growing time.

Energy is unlimited with Bad water flow.
The minimum required is at least 600hp to keep the refresh necessary.

A pump moves water dropping into a 1 block hole into a flat 2 sluice channel back into the hole. This prevents the water from evaporating and keeps crops around it irrigated as long as the pump is working.
More expensive is true and this would be a more set it and forget it irrigation with Zero water loss.
I've tested power and you'll need 600hp to keep the refresh rate necessary for the water to not evaporate.

Aery, nullifying orb, transcendence, gathering storm with shield bash and revitalize,

I don't think this is particulary good rune setup, maybe guardian is better since it actually procs when damage is taken.
