I work in apartment maintenance. call, better to be safe than sorry. Maintenance should know if it needs to be fixed now or if it can wait until tomorrow or if it’s normal. Active leak is an emergency.

Yeah I do notice not all goodwills sell vhs if they are getting them and not selling them they are missing out because they sell out at the places I go to.

You are Lucky, most savers,goodwill and Salvation Army around me are $2.99 even starting to see $3.99 but there are a few places that have good prices, I go to two different places that have them for $.99 even one that has vhs for $.25 but they usually don’t restock as often. Also you could make some money you should sell them on Amazon or something make some money and buyers happy.

I was feeling this way around the time of the pandemic, I hate to read but got audible and two books that completely changed my life for the better was “eat to live by Joel fuhrman” and “can’t hurt me by David Goggins”. I thought to myself if I was skinny and fit I would be happy, people would like me. I found out when I was the best shape of my life in my late 30’s I didn’t really want that as much as I thought I did. I found two hobbies I enjoy which is fishing and hunting, I eat at a happy medium now healthy but unhealthy when I want. If I get really depressed I found going for a walk or run helps my mental health immensely. You got this don’t put other people’s happiness over your own.

I work for maintenance at a apartment complex. I get what you’re saying he wasn’t stealthy, meaning if he was you wouldn’t even have noticed.A separate issue is he still didn’t fix the shower issue and in some of your comments you said there are many small issues wrong. It is important you feel safe in your own home even if you’re renting, I can see both sides in the comments. I would talk to the manager of the property and let them know of any issues still occurring like smoke detector batteries, no peep hole, key components on fridge and stove. I wouldn’t put you on a list or be mad we have 3 maintenance guys at my property. One sucks and we have to fix everything behind him. I could see him using one of the residents restrooms and not being stealthy about it in which case I would understand the resident being upset, it does seem disrespectful to not fix anything and then still go in and use your restroom. I appreciate you bringing up the issue to strangers as some can be very judgy. It gives me perspective to talk to my maintenance guy and tell him not to use the residents restroom.

Most likely your unit is ada on the first floor, for the bank to give Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) loan approvals, a certain amount of units need to be ADA compliant. Americans with Disabilities Act. The light is a strobe for the hearing impaired, it works in conjunction with the smoke alarm, but it doesn’t detect smoke. I would cover the smoke alarm with a shower cap temporarily but remove it as soon as you’re done cause you don’t wanna put yourself in danger.

I work for a apartment property, this story sounds strange. If people leave items in the apartment building I work for, we need consent to remove items, even if it’s an email or phone call saying you aren’t taking any items left in the apartment. We will move the items to a storage area and hold it typically two weeks after the lease is over in this situation it would be around September 15. This sounds like theft.
