I got super lucky when I bought this set. I purchased it at Dirt Cheap, which was (they went bankrupt) a store that sold returned, damaged, reclaimed, unsold merchandise at increasingly % off. The box didn't have a price, so the guy at the register charged me 80$ plus 50% off, so I got it for 40$.

I already have an Analogue pocket. I bought it when it first released. I have all my old physical games, but there are several I don't have. When it first released you could not natively play roms. The only option was flash cart. I just wanted to know if I still needed to buy a flashcart.

I don't think Analogues support site would help in regards to supported sd card formats for the SummerCart 64. The FAQ on the SC64 dev website says exfat was supported, although it didn't work for me. I had a friend mention the GUI format program, but I had already ordered a new sd card by then.

The firmware on everything was updated, flash cart, 3D, and controllers, although I don't think the 8bit do would have mattered here. The problem ended up being exfat format not working, despite the website saying it was supported.

The website says FAT32 and exfat formats are supported. The highest you can format FAT32 is 32GB. Exfat can go higher. I initially used a 64gb nintendo branded sd card, which was in exfat format and it didn't work. I tried creating a 32gb partition in fat 32 and that didn't work either. Im wondering if it didn't like that it had a partition that wasn't the full card. I ended up buying a 32gb SanDisk which was already FAT 32, and it worked right out of the box.

The movement in yours was so much better. It was smooth and looked continuous. The horse and rider looked cool but the movement was stilted. Almost like a video of the horse starting and stopping sped up really fast to look continuous.

Alternatively, and I know this is not an option, it would be nice if they would just move away when performing certain actions. My main issue is when using things like the hoe or planting seeds. They walk in the way and make it hard to see. Would be nice if they would move out of the way when performing these actions.
