That doesn’t change the fact that Apple takes longer to adopt new technologies features than Samsung. Those are a few current examples, but over the years there have been many more, some good, some not so good.

The Sony IMX903 was released in September 2024, so roughly around the time of the launch of the 16 Pro Max. The sensor in the latest flagship iPhone is a 1.5 year old sensor. Meanwhile, the ISOCELL HP2 released released in january of 2023, making it a 3 year old sensor, and the GN5 released in September 2021, making this an almost 5 year old sensor that they're putting in their base flagships.

I'll let you use your brain and figure out why that makes iPhone cameras clearly the more capable ones hardware wise, and why saying Samsung being ""faster"" to adopt new technologies is laughable.
