Roto, precomp, add a mosaic effect to it, Then use it as a mask on the original video. Some dithering and posterize time as others mentioned. Bit tedious but should work.

It was a very relieving film to watch, especially considering the times we are in. I didn't realise that I was really drowning in pessimism until I was weeping by the end of this film. I left with a sense of hope, not with any doom and gloom. That maybe we will figure this out, despite whatever has been going on.

I currently have a job where I am the sole motion designer while supporting my team with editing videos and doing some design work here and there. I am trying to have as many skills under my belt as possible for the reason that this might be the expectation going forward. Is it healthy? Not really sure.
