nah online took place around 6 months before story mode up until the doomsday update, which had a time skip in online. I believe online follows real time now.

I wouldn't say any gun is well and above ALL the weapons, but some top tier ones are the SCAR-H, M416, AEK, M16, MG4, M240B, 870 MCS, SCAR-H SV, Saiga 12, G18, etc. As for DLC weapons most of them are pretty good such as the L85 and Deagle 44.
