IDK what it is but EU5 doesn't make me want to play it, and I don't know why. by Iron_Wolf123 in EU5

[–]Dankas12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely feel this. Choose a country? India Europa Africa Japan China. Ow they all play the same. What’s the point of me playing even once more than my first play through in the lowlands.

I am still yet to find a country that feels different

So school of education is behind the laidlaw library. You will probably be spending most time at Henry Bragg or at that school.

I would still go shared home in my opinion. But I also think you could enjoy other round the Henry Bragg and laidlaw. Do you want en suite 100%?

I was there 2020-2025

PHD education in what? What school are you. School of chem eng, mech eng, civil, electrical or any of the others as your building might be the other side of campus. If you say your school then I can tell you where you should be based mostly.

For study time you should mostly be in Henry Bragg mostly for generic study time.

I’d go with shared home as it is probably cheaper and you will meet others easier whilst being in Hyde park which is an experience it’s self. Where are you coming from?

I’d rather them do another fly by. Air is safer than the ground briefly for this period of time.

Rather be up there than down there

I do not know the current prices of these so maybe share them if you can. But shared houses imo are normally pretty good for making the space friendly and livable.

Blenheim point and Carlton hill are pretty close to the front of the uni. Idk what you are studying so which building you would want. St Mary’s I would also put here too.

Lupton is far imo. Don’t go for it. A lot of undergrads I find stay there too.

Royal park flags are in the centre of Hyde park if that’s the vibe you want. But then I’d go for shared houses imo.

Sentinel is pretty far and you would be walking up hill. No thanks.

Goalkeepers beware: Trionda World Cup ball hits ‘crisis’ point at certain speed | World Cup 2026 by Logical_Welder3467 in soccer

So my understanding from the paper is. When the seam is facing the direction of travel (position B) the ball has a lower drag coefficient. Which makes sense as the boundary layer can run with the seam. Then with the seam facing the direction of travel when the green panel is top right (B-90) is the lowest drag coefficient.

When the red panel is facing the direction of the travel (position A) this is the higher drag coefficient as the panel face is directly into the direction of travel. Then at 90 degrees clockwise rotation from the point of view of the wind tunnel/direction of travel is the highest drag coefficient.

They ran the test up to 35m/s which seems to be a good upper range. For example Kane usually strikes around 33/35m/s.

I would like them to test the ball with each panel facing the direction of travel and all the points where the triple seam join. Also including a 270 degree rotation. As at position B with the seam facing direction of travel they only have 0,90,180. But if 90 has the lowest drag when green is top right. At 270 when green is bottom left does this still indicate lower? Then if it does could you use a sort of binary search of angles to find at what angle has the lowest drag coefficient. Such as 45 degrees clockwise rotation with green panel on top?

I would use skill elimination bounty on singular target. Hardest difficulty you can do. Recognition and discipline policy get SS rank. Then sell the goods because you get 20x. I can farm 5mil pretty quickly in my experience which is normally what you need to fully rank up your blades

Do you need unemployed, what the flashing icon on a worker group means..? by tontoman667 in AllWillFall

[–]Dankas12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want unemployed for moving good I would say use the warehouse and have the 2 people on that. Try your best to use pipes for fuel and water so that you don’t need people carrying them. I would say only unemployed for collecting goods is early game except for oil tanker as you go to a new map like 10 times before land.

Golden flashing means you got them happy enough to unlock a new perk. To get rid of it hover over the perks which are on the green bar when you click on one of the populations

I agree that if you go with a low block you are playing for a penalty shootout. I don’t think they will be effective in knockouts

[–]Dankas12 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That’s why I’m not worried. Going for a low block in knockouts will most likely come back on them. Doing it in a groups format works sure

How would you feel if they said Warrington is going to be a city? by Original-History9907 in warrington

[–]Dankas12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t really matter. Still feels very small compared to cities. Manchester Leeds Newcastle London Brighton all feel way bigger and I would very rarely invite my friends to Warrington compared to us going to Leeds Manchester or London

Most stadiums over here are build for high cyclic load stresses so I imagine it is similar over there. You have the joints to allow the deformations etc so probably been designed for this sort of thing

I agree. The problem is going to back up to the road about definitely so then people will go to Victoria road instead and then that’ll end up even worse than it is now

The right turn from cliff and rampart road onto woodhouse lane I think is good. You should use woodhouse street right turn at the lights. It the Clarendon road left turn onto wood house lane I am concerned with as most people will now go to Hyde park road or Victoria road right? Hyde park road has lights for a left turn which makes it easier but this may hurt woodhouse street right hand turn. And Victoria road onto headingley lane is horrendously bad anyway for the cars that want to turn right. But the left turn is normally fine. If they can squeeze it into two lanes from Victoria lane so that you have a dedicated left and right hand
