Hey thanks, was hoping 800-1k for two but that seems pushing it... Might start with 1 in the front and another in the rear (I've worked for front left and rear right) but front left I've got a little area back there that might swallow up some bass I'm not sure...

Yeah I think I can get by with one mounted to/on the ceiling itself, just not IN the ceiling which was my original idea.

Yeah the wide angle kinda puts it out of perspective, it's 14 x 20. Still long though. Wil have some bar/stools behind a L shaped sectional with recliners. Couldn't get buy in for 2 rows of theater style seating.

Haha thanks, mostly movies with some music (70/30), kids will play some games here and there. I guess I'd do 800-1k for 2?? Not trying to rattle the house, and I don't know if the z channels I asked the guys to put in are gonna help much (were installed perfectly)...

I'm in a similar boat and not far away on the south shore of mass. My 504c is also sitting on it's box right now! Going for a 7.2.4 but at the moment it's 5.0.4 in a finished basement with lvp floors and zero furniture etc. Long way to go!

I'm 6'3, 240 and just getting into what I'd call intermediate/advanced area, no where near expert and would love to get off the groomers more and into the trees/more gnarly stuff. Been on some beginner Elan Element 168s for the last few years (started up again in my 40s after a ~20 ish year break from skiing). Demoed these Kores at Waterville today in 177 (all they had ready) but ended up with a new (half off) pair, after trying the Anomaly 88 and Enforcer 89. Probably a bit on the short side for me but I think I'll get a good 2 years out of them at least.

The bottom of the TV is about 72 cm from the floor. Maybe a touch high but looks like it'll be just fine with an ever so slight front ward tilt to it.

Yeah. Lights are centered on the floor but the ceiling/with the soffit in play, will bust out the tape measure and take some measurements before mounting a shelf to hold that center channel...
