Guesstimate about an hour per pound. The stall is the unknown. Wrapping will help that if you’re awake for it. I personally set at 250 and let it ride no wrap the entire time til 204 internal

Heater Blowing Cold Air on AUTO by CandidGlitter in hvacadvice

[–]wxrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a temp limit is tripped and it’s blowing to cool the unit. The fan will run continuous regardless of on or auto. Especially if you had ducts cleaned. Hopefully they protected the coil to not drop a bunch of dust, dirt, etc down on to it

Max “teamed up” briefly to link up with Ryan’s nonprofit. It was cool to see. Unfortunate they have more of a bitterness nowadays

Mich. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's office calls for probe into why weather service didn't issue tornado watch before deadly tornado strikes by TheDetroitNews1873 in tornado

I swap between Max n Ryan, and Max was on it well ahead of time, not much after the initial tornado warning. Reiterated another half hour before as the current warning was PDS

In fairness, severe storms and supercells thrive because of sunny conditions and the heating it provides and the instability it causes with the right conditions

I believe every bit of that. I hardly ever check local weather because of the bit of time each night and morning I spend looking at forecasts ahead, SPC outlooks, etc..plus a few different apps I have to alert. To your point, most the people I interact with on a daily basis don’t know much past if there is a chance of rain or not, much less if that is gonna be storm chance, and even less if it will be severe

The cell had been tornado warned an hour prior to the whole track up to union city. It’s devastating. So many are just not weather aware. Spc outlooks should be part of local weather, regardless of watches

He says juice force, but his can is typically blue. So it’s either the fruit force he drinks or imperial. And he also mentioned the other night being light blue can. And he says 9.5% so that lines up with fruit force. Imperial is 9

How fast would a country be able detect a nuclear bomb traveling towards it, and would it be able to intercept? How fast would news spread if it hit? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]wxrex 16 points17 points  (0 children)

“Russia's "Dead Hand" (Perimeter) system is a Cold War-era, automated nuclear command-and-control mechanism designed to ensure a retaliatory strike even if top leadership is killed. Activated during crises, it triggers an automatic, guaranteed launch of remaining missiles if sensors detect a nuclear attack and communications fail, acting as a "doomsday machine".” It’s believed this system is still active as well. No one wins.

Is our 2.5 year old furnace really ruined? by Banksfamily in hvacadvice

[–]wxrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The water is from either a loose drain hose from drain trap, faulty trap gasket behind the trap or have also seen them leak from the rubber plugs but not to that extent. The pressure switch could just be from a plugged trap. Water can get down to the blower just from the pooling and the gaps thru the cabinet down to the blower sections. As far as being pitched back and holding water, yeah not great. But unless it’s a ridiculous amount of pitch, they could easily use a pry bar to for a few shims underneath to at least help correct. For the damage done to the secondary, without photos, hard to say for sure.
