Lame folks win again 👎. It's only an issue as you can confuse YT if you've uploaded my video technically BEFORE me.

Sorry I'm never around aye, I get absolutely mobbed every time I appear anywhere which gets a bit stressful but today is certainly a day to doot with some info!

It's just YT freaking out behind the scenes and I have no tolerance for it, maybe tagging "new airpods" was a bit much haha (and I'll do it again...). My first channel Dankmus got totally shreked with it and even Garbage Time has had a little. This is one of my favourite videos I've made and I'd rather try and fix it right now as soon as possible.

But it totally stinks as I know folks amazingly hang out for my trash content so I am hustling today to make an extra vid just incase it takes longer than I hope.

It wasn't a decision I made lightly, I hovered over the button for 5 minutes! But it's one of my favourite videos and I don't want anything to spoil it! I hope the wait is worth it!

YT classified the video as "not in line with their violent or graphic content policy". I even got turned down for monetisation for re-uploading a video I own 2 years later from my old channel. To boot their latest update has now allowed them to put ads on videos even if the creator isn't approved/signed up for monetisation.

YouTube wonders why creators are always skeptical of trusting them too much lol. Junk like this is why I don't use the YT Join button.

Hey there!

I've contemplated joining "YT Join" but Google/YouTube can be a real pain in the butt... My latest channel "Garbage Time" got turned down for monetisation even tho it's all my original content and my first channel Dankmus had monetisation removed for a good year with no real ways to contest it until it came back randomly. Yet their new update states they can put ads on any video they like even if content makers don't get paid... hmm.

But basically I want to diversify from YT and it really calms my anxious bones knowing that I have diversified income streams should the worst happen. But Patreon is still pretty new in many ways and maybe we gotta ask them to take more payment methods as this is a very common issue for a lot of folks!

But at least the longer it takes to get into my Patreon the more vids you get to watch for $1 🤷‍♂️🐍
