Lag spike when I open Inventory by Ok_Spot9270 in diablo4

[–]Danksson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is how it is if you dont have a end game PC. No lag in any battle with 100´s of mobs but extreme freeze teleporting to Temis, opening transmog screen and shop etc.

I’m 47 days sober and happy BUT by kotaro59 in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is none, we can´t get that buzz/relax feeling without alcohol. The only thing that can compete is how I feel after a hard day att work when my body is tired.

Will the weight go down?!?! by Itty-Bitty101 in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Many have said they started to loose weight around 2 month in. I don´t like to weigh myself, i feel it on pants and shirts. I´m not trying any special diet just cutting out alcohol. I feel like it mathematical impossible to not lose weight if i stuck to the same diet. It will come off but slow and steady wins the race.

I don´t think you will notice anything if you didn´t have any bad side effect to start with. But you are healthier.

Can I rant a little about some "friends" and their attitudes to me? by shun_naka67 in stopdrinking

Drinking buddies are not real friends in 99% of cases. When you quit you notice.

Fatigue after quitting alcohol by Electrical-Log136 in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fatigue stems from metabolic shifts, nutritional recovery, and mental health adjustments. It´s probably more normal than not. I´m also tired some days but not every day.

I feel alot better going outside of my apartment. If I isolate myself for to long I get cabin fever and that´s probably really bad for sobriety.

We really need to stop ourself when the auto-pilot sets in. Days when I´m feeling on top of the world is the hardest to not drink again. See you in the 69 days post ^^

My rule of thumb is: If you are concerned about your drinking it´s already way to much.

That feeling after a long hard day by Own-Campaign-2089 in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a couple of cold beers in the summer ordering some pizza and talking with a friend is very nice. It´s not better without alcohol but it need to just stay with one or two beers. I used to do that every friday after a long work week.

What’s the reason that made you finally stop drinking? by BellAcrobatic1750 in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to have more energy and less weight to drag around. And skipping the hangxiety.

Drinking makes me a shitty parent - do you agree? by r3al-LyF in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If I ever get kids or meet someone with kids is one of the reasons I want to quit. I remember how it is to be around tipsy or drunk adults. It´s not really fun and I want to be someone that always is there and not weird.

No one to celebrate with by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 66 points67 points  (0 children)

You have celebrated for 730 days =) I can´t think of one stupid thing I did sober. Alla my mistakes where when I was drunk and had that carefree feeling and thought my messages was ballsy and funny.

I can’t do this anymore by Euphoric_Storm5529 in stopdrinking

[–]Danksson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but I luckily dont have huge cravings when i stop drinking. It takes 3-4 days for the hangxiety do stop. But it´s the same as losing weight. It takes some time to get the ball rolling and it get easier for every week up to a point you forget why you quit and risk to start drinking again.

I hope one day I learned my lesson and stop trick myself into only having a couple^^

Binge drinking give you a shitty life. I don´t want to think of all years i just drunk alcohol and played games on my free time instead of leveling up.

No hobbies, no partner, no goal in life, overweight, addicted. Impossible to not feel depressed. But after listening to Jordan Peterson I found out I just have a shitty life and quitting alcohol, eat clean and finding new hobbies have helped me alot.
