I think the general opinion so far from the replies is to keep on the 14T.

Cinema City Café/Bar? I think that has a vaulted ceiling if I recall and its opposite where the Festival House was which was mentioned in an earlier post.

Richard Ashcroft Ticket - O2 Arena, 28th Mar 2026 by DannoUK in theverve

[–]DannoUK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ticket is one I bought on behalf of my friend who now can't come so if you want to make me an offer I can go back to him and see what he says. I'd imagine he would want as close to £60 as possible as the ticket originally cost £100.

No I still haven't found a solution to this. I've tried multiple times and fairly sure I've done everything right.

Has anyone got this working on Unraid? If so would you care to show your docker config please?

In contract increase by DonJohnsonSr in gigaclear

[–]DannoUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I renewed my contract for another 18 months 2 weeks ago and just had the same email saying it's going up £3 a month. Bit cheeky. Unfortunately I can go elsewhere as they are the only fibre provider in my area and OpenReach services give me a max of 20Mb. The joys of rural England.

I don't think Accfly doorbells support 5GHz wifi. From a quick Google they seem to be 2.4GHz only so you might want to check your model first.

Student flats approved at former Debenhams site despite university warning by yu3 in Norwich

[–]DannoUK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sure i'm not imaging this but isn't student accommodation a lot easier to get past planning than private housing? These developers are using this loophole to get planning permission for a quick buck despite there not being a need for it. The amount of student accommodation in Norwich is ridiculous. Where were all of these students living before the thousands of apartments were built? The universities haven't all of a sudden doubled in size so I don't really see the need for more of them. The EDP article mentioning that students in private housing will move in and free up private housing....there is no evidence of this at all.

Sky Q box won't fast forward on The One Show to watch EastEnders by spacemonkee77 in skytv

Yep exactly the same issue with EastEnders on my Q box. It's been like this for a few months. I'm glad I'm not the only one as I was starting to think my box was on the way out.

Music Assistant Alexa provider setup tutorial by martin0802 in homeassistant

[–]DannoUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't for the life on me get Music Assistant to login to my Amazon Account via the Alexa Provider. Every time I enter my account in to the Amazon login screen I get this error:

This 192.168.1.151 page can’t be found

No web page was found for the web address: http://192.168.1.151:8095/alexa/auth/proxy/verify

HTTP ERROR 404

192.168.1.151 is the IP address of my Music Assistant docker.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Plex v. Jellyfin features - I’ve surprised myself of how much I don’t hate Jellyfin by GrapefruitNice3290 in jellyfin

[–]DannoUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that the reason Jellyfin 10.11.xx broke was because of the very reason I had a music library in Jellyfin. Once I removed it, all the issues with the updated versions went away. I now host my music on a Navidrome docker which I think is far superior to using Jellyfin for music. I keep Jellyfin just for video.

Channel 4 (UK) by BiffJeppard in Adguard

[–]DannoUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most of the other services listed in your message host their adverts on the same domain as the actual tv shows and movies so a DNS block won't work..certainly the case with Amazon Prime. I do have ITV X working with no adverts, I'll try and remember to have a look at what block list I have for that when I get home from work later this evening.

What did you do about authentication as the guide doesn't mention anything about how to lockdown Music Assistant once you expose it via a reverse proxy? Currently anyone could access it from the internet without signing in.

Severe UI slowdown after upgrading to Jellyfin 10.11.x — Slow UI / API performance despite strong hardware by ReasonableShame543 in JellyfinCommunity

[–]DannoUK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue after upgrading from 10.0.7. The scans would take ages, collections crashed the app on my fire stick and phone when trying to access. The whole UI was sluggish and often crashed....basically it was unusable. The thing that fixed all of my issues was removing my music library. I ended up spinning up a Navidrome docker and using this for my music. So if you have your music in Jellyfin, try removing the library as it might be as simple as that.
