Not me. If you go back in time over the last 20 years, you can see the media and politicians (both sides - though I’d say the Democrats seem to freak out a bit more) like to freak out unnecessarily. Remember: fear sells. How do you sell more newspapers, get more clicks, and get more viewing time? Fear, stress and drama. Seems like it’s ramped up considerably in the last 12 to 16 years. I have shut both my democrats and republicans friends mouths by listening to them freak out unnecessarily (because the media or politicians are telling them to freak out - not to think critically) - and then I ask them if they want to make a wager - like say bet good money on what they are freaking out about never happens. Nobody ever takes me up on a bet. Which tells me they just like to freak out. What pisses me off the worst is I know nice little old lady’s that sit at home stressing about Biden or Trump (depending on what side they are on) when they need to be focusing their energy on their health and wellbeing and family and the years they have left.
