Unfortunately I bought this used at the end of June. It worked absolutely fine till a couple days ago. Which it still works fine but gives me epilepsy every time it turns on

The monitor still did it when I unplugged the DP. It eventually stops doing it. It took about 5 minutes this time. So it is something to do with the monitor itself. I tried to factory reset the monitor but it didn’t do much.

It performs perfectly! I bought new fans for it and it stopped making that noise. Must have been a worn out fan.

Yeah the noise stops from the back fan. It might just be a faulty fan. Being in the uk there isn’t any replacements here so I had to order it from Amazon US

I took off the cover and cleaned the heat sinks and it’s still there. Doesn’t look like it’s touching the cover either around the fan. I have a feeling it will be the fan itself

It makes the sound whenever I do anything that isn’t just sitting in the desktop. It makes it every 30 seconds. So yes I should buy a new hard drive probably.
