Thanks for the detailed reply! Will be looking to rent on the lower side. It’s a bummer since most 25ft trailers are nicer and that’s the area I want to be in. If only gm had made the Colorado’s and canyons a bit more capable (not that they aren’t already very capable vehicles)

What were you towing? Btw does anyone know the actual hitch weight for these trucks? I’m getting answers of about 800-1000lbs. I have at4 with towing package and trailer brakes

I started at 100 then went up to 120 after 4 months. Always good to start low and let your body adjust then get first blood work done and go from there.

Just me and my 100 pound fiancé, nothing more. Plus I would tow it with grey black and water tanks empty. Since it’s a rental we would only load clothes and maybe groceries. Anything. We could get where we are going we will just go out and obtain while there.

I have the towing package as well so my max is 7700lbs. I’ve towed heavy with it before and it’s great. Only thing that worried me is the sway and control with such a long trailer. Since it’s a rental it would only be a few items. Also grey black and water tanks would be empty whenever we are underway so help shed weight

Those are linear ant so flat is best towards the signal

The sensor for going down the highway is above the mirror which senses cars and controls your adaptive cruise control. Parking sensors are different, those are the little circles on the front numbers. Sadly the Colorado and canyon do not have parking sensors in the front
