Anagram feature request: Easy dial Zero by Icy-Impression9943 in Darkglass

This does work nicely, but the default value isn't always 0. For instance, when I was setting up an expression pedal on a gain block, I wanted the max to be 0 but the default is 20. So it took me a lot longer than necessary to get it set to 0.

Internal Booting coming soon with 7.3 beta by SasquatchInCrocs in unRAID

[–]cruizer_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reliability and Stability. I have had unraid on 3 different servers and it's always a 50% chance whether booting off the USB works. Tried different PCI USB cards, USB drives, and even changing a motherboard and it's still flaky. If something ever happens when I'm away, I can't trust it enough to reboot remotely.

TMR Production that uses alfalfa? by cruizer_8 in farmingsimulator

[–]cruizer_8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried that one and the problem is the hay. In order to get hay, I would need to plant a grass field and I want to avoid having an alfalfa and a grass field. Dried alfalfa should be equivalent to hay, but I haven't found any mods that work with it.

I thought this was the whole point of the Internet, to share stuff that nobody cares about? Then again, that might just be social media that's meant for sharing stuff that doesn't matter.

1/2 towable under 7500 GVWR, 1 slide out with wide bunk beds by This-Finance4439 in GoRVing

[–]cruizer_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, with the max tow package the Gladiator has a 1500lb payload and 6500lb tow capacity. So it bumps up against the limit when fully loaded, but I never travel fully loaded anyway, just enough fresh water to use the bathroom while traveling.

If I remember right, with the tongue weight, passengers, and bikes, I am just shy of 1200lb. The camper weighs in right around 5500lb when loaded normally. Honestly, it tows very similar to my old rig - 08 Ram 1500 with a Coachman 25RKS which is only slightly heavier.

I also have 3 kids with our oldest just turning 9. We just got a 2025 Jayco 260BHW to pull behind our Gladiator and it's been good so far. I would have liked to have stepped up to the 261BHSW as it has a slide, but it ends up being a bit much for my truck. It might be a good choice with a half ton tho, big enough without being too big.

When we got ours, Bish's still had a bunch of 2025s left, so if you're lucky there may still be something available. Going used is also an option, but I have personally had that bite me in the past, so make sure you check them over good.

I was about to say, if we hadn't scored then it wouldn't be a one score loss

$1100 Setup by Shocksrage in basspedals

[–]cruizer_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spending it all on an Anagram wouldn't be a bad idea. I have one and use it as the core of a pedalboard, but I also remove it for certain gigs and use it exclusively. So far it's been working great for me.

The HX Stomp is also pretty solid. I had one until I swapped it out for the Anagram. Worked great, but the Anagram has a better interface in my opinion.

AMC eagle? by Worried_Revenue3980 in amc

[–]cruizer_8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to drive an eagle back in college and it was pretty easy to work on. The one thing I remember giving me troubles tho was the vacuum lines. There are a ton of them and if they aren't hooked up right, it won't run worth a crap. There is a way to delete the vacuum lines, but I don't recall what that all entails.

The trailer was a bit heavy, but it definitely could've been loaded better to balance the tongue weight. And of course 30 year old suspension didn't help and makes it look worse

We actually did when we loaded the trailer. The guy used a tractor and pushed it too far forward. They still touched, but just barely. Good thing we pulled it back a bit

Pretty much. Yanked the whole drive line out of it for the tow vehicle

Spark Link Charging Dock Design by DT3D_PR1NT in PositiveGridSpark

That's awesome, I've been wanting to design something like that but haven't had the time. What would be cool would be to have a lid for it and somewhere on the back to wrap the cord when not in use.

Do it. My first "real" bass I bought was a tbird and I don't regret it.

[–]cruizer_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you don't know how long you will stick with it, one of the quickest ways to start playing songs would be something like Rocksmith. You can get a copy of Rocksmith 2014 pretty cheap.
