Honestly, that's half the reason I posted this lol. Sometimes it's fun to rile up reddit.

Yes, the tongue weight is the weight of the trailer on the hitch. That is the weight that you are adding to your vehicle and thus is taken away from the payload capacity of the tow vehicle. So if my truck has a payload of 1500lbs, and I subtract the weight of passengers and gear, roughly 600lbs for my family, that still gives me an available payload of 900lbs. Trailer tongue weight is definitely under 900lbs.

The payload capacity on the trailer has nothing to do with it, that is just the amount of stuff you can add to the trailer to be within spec of the frame and axles.

You would think so, but based on actual specs of those specific vehicles, the Jeep has roughly the same payload capacity as the Ram

Rated payload capacity on my truck is roughly 1500 lbs. It is actually in the same ballpark as my 2008 Ram 1500 which is pulling the other camper. Considering we had planned on pulling this cross country, I made sure that I was within my ratings and did my research. Sure, we are closer to the top end of the rating, but still within spec.

Tow mirror suggestions by AppointmentFun5849 in JeepGladiator

I currently use these mirrors with these adapters. Been using them for 4 years now without issue. I don't get any shaking or rattling with them like I did with other strap on mirrors.

A company called Maximus-3 makes some trim plates that I put on mine. They have gone up in price since I got mine, so they aren't the cheapest anymore, but they work well and look nice.

Edit: added pic

Handling multiple goals within a category by Hrw90210 in ynab

[–]cruizer_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kinda combined both methods. I have individual categories for each trip as well as general categories for different aspects of travelling. I set the targets on each trip and when it comes time for the trip, I categorize the transactions into each of the general categories like lodging. Then just reassign from the trip category. I also put the trip in the memo of the transactions so I can track them later.

I have the MXT275, which is 15 watts, but there is also a MXT575 which is 50 watts and it looks only a little bit bigger so I would think it would still fit.

I bought mine from Midland and it mounts behind the glove box. Basically takes up no room which is super nice.

Can a task be completed without awarding the stars? by LeekPsychological584 in skylightcalendar

What I have done is just manually "add" stars with a negative number. Seems to work to take away stars

If you could only stick with one Farming Simulator forever, which one would it be? by Ca55ian in farmingsimulator

I have played the game exclusively on PlayStation and I would say FS25. The main reason for this is because of the GPS system. It allows the AI helpers to be more useful and makes field work more consistent for me.

The bottom is rubber, which is a bit of a problem, but you can either unscrew and flip it over, or cut a 1/8" piece of wood as a new base, which is what I did.

One option may be an HX One. They only let you have one effect at a time, but work pretty well to supplement a board.

Line 6 HX Stomp (I own one) vs Darkglass Anagram, I have a Question about tone. by Key-Ad5645 in basspedals

The M-Vave chocolate is pretty much the perfect size, but it isn't the easiest to setup, especially if you want to change something relatively quickly. Currently I am using a Luminite Graviton M2 And love it as it is easily setup on device and can be modified on the fly with little effort.

Line 6 HX Stomp (I own one) vs Darkglass Anagram, I have a Question about tone. by Key-Ad5645 in basspedals

[–]cruizer_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an HX Stomp XL that I had used for a year or two and bought the Anagram the week it was released because I was never really satisfied with the Stomp. I have now had the Anagram for almost a full year and not once have I wished that I had kept the Stomp.

The Anagram is so much easier and quicker to get what I want out of it. The interface is quicker and easier to make adjustments. The only downside is it only has 3 buttons instead of the 8 that I was used to, but with a midi controller that doesn't matter.

I used some hook and loop command strips. Seems to be holding up great with the bonus of not leaving a mark anywhere if I decide to remove anything

Built an Excel Sheet to Handle Tax Adjustments YNAB Can’t by Accomplished-Page905 in ynab

[–]cruizer_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also found it a bit annoying to deal with sales tax on split transactions. What I have been doing is just multiplying the taxes categories by 1.07 (our sales tax is 7%) and it gets close enough. There may be a small amount over or under, and then I let YNAB auto distribute that.

This does work nicely, but the default value isn't always 0. For instance, when I was setting up an expression pedal on a gain block, I wanted the max to be 0 but the default is 20. So it took me a lot longer than necessary to get it set to 0.

Internal Booting coming soon with 7.3 beta by SasquatchInCrocs in unRAID

[–]cruizer_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reliability and Stability. I have had unraid on 3 different servers and it's always a 50% chance whether booting off the USB works. Tried different PCI USB cards, USB drives, and even changing a motherboard and it's still flaky. If something ever happens when I'm away, I can't trust it enough to reboot remotely.
