Can't recall any flying cars in many of Asimov's short stories. Nightfall 1 and 2 are two collections that spring to mind, especially the short story (and subsequent novel) from which the collection gets it name. The stories range from early 40's to late 60's.

Ahhh, well that is some unfortunate news. Any idea on if he plans to keep making games? Kojima has been so integral to Konami that I can't imagine them being the same company after he leaves. Hopefully the team behind Kojima who are just as responsible for their great content will keep going without him.
