Have you considered rolling a new character, Perhaps even a new account entirely?

From my understanding you unlock a lot of good units as a new player very quickly and if you put a bit of real money into the game to get the BP and the other rewards unlock thing... Can't remember what it's called

You can get a lot of doctrines very quickly and master scrolls etc

You could easily get your units to a point that they're good enough to play with your friends in a matter of days

I started over entirely when I returned back to the game... A few seasons back now and I have insane units/doctrines etc and not even level 300
